I don't really know yet. I might go mage, and if I do I will definitely go knight enchanter (which apparently has melee abilities). So I may very well end up doing a combination of ranged and melee.

I'm having a hard time wanting to be anything other than a Mage. I can get my melee fix with a Knight Enchanter, and my ranged fix from being any other type of Mage.

I'm an archer in real life, currently forced to rest with a blasted rotator cuff injury, so I always go with ranged. Nothing like the power of a bow and a feathered stick with a sharp metal point.
