I have been watching the E3 demo Redcliffe and am having a really hard time enjoying it. All due to the camera angle. It is constantly panned up. As if the camera is only a few feet off the ground and looking up at the back of the character. It was actually starting to hurt my eyes which was weird. I could tell that sometimes it panned up further to show the amazing world that has been created. But just in general it was always positioned really low.
What I am wondering is, is this the default camera position? I really hope not. I had to stop watching the video due to the discomfort. I can only imagine that I would not be able to play the game. Which I really do want to. I am a big fan of the dragon age games.
Am I the only one that thinks this??
Thanks for any reply.

In both games thus far when you've been in over-the-shoulder mode you can move the camera around pretty freely, so you shouldn't be stuck staring up your character's backside wondering if they put on clean underwear that morning.

Ah, so you kinda noticed the same thing with the camera being kinda up the characters backside. Haha, it is funny, but also true, which is a sad.
On a more serious note I really hope the camera is the same as in the first two dragon ages. If so then it will be perfect.

By "the first two," do you mean DA:O and DA:A? Or did you mean DA:O and DA2?
Because DA:O and DA2 did not have the same camera systems.

By first two I am talking about Origins, and DA:2. DA:A is an expansion not a stand alone game so... Anyway their camera systems were different, but better than what has been shown in the E3 demos that are out recently.
I just saw there is another topic on this exact issue.
