I just noticed that Vorcha can regenerate armor if left alone long enough. Can Krogan also regenerate their armor?

AFAIK not.

Vor'cha also have a distinctive animation playing, right before the armour regeneration. I've seen that quite often, but never anything similar for Krogans.

I once let a Krogan on Mordin's recruitment mission live (well, it got stuck somewhere) for around 3 minutes and it did nothing to regenerate armor.

I do not recall Krogan ever regenerating their armor.

Krogan don't regenerate armor but they have more of it (along with more health).
