I'm mostly just looking forward to niche japanese stuff. All the big western titles I want like dragon age and far cry aren't appearing until october and that's ages away.

The Legend of Zelda? That's kinda Japanese.

Yes, yes! YES!

Now that's open-world! Or as Miyamoto likes to refer to, being a vast land.

Edit: It's the newly revealed Zelda Wii U. I had a feeling it would look like this. Looks great.

Awesome and beautiful. Kinda reminds me of NWN 2.

True, but that's even farther away than those games coming out in October.

I'm looking forward to Zelda U but as Pudding (yes that's your name now) said it's ages away.

Not much. I'm mainly looking forward to Dark Souls 2  DLC next week and Metro Redux, which comes out at the end of August, sadly.

What about that new Fatal Frame that was announced? Oh yeah, Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden is exclusive to Wii U.

I only look forward to Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity right now, the rest like Arkham Knight and TW 3 is scheduled to release in 2015 so that's not the coming months.

and as said above Original Sin is damn good, Shovel Knight is pretty fun too.

I wouldn't be putting too much faith in the footage currently shown, unless Nintendo has a new console up their sleeve they plan on releasing the game for something smells fishy.

Anyone got a beginners or character creation guide for that game? Just need to know what skills and talents are actually useful and which are merely a waste of points. Having trouble deciding what characters to play and which skills to focus on, also wondering what sort of companions you can get along the way and whether or not they can take up non combat and crafting skills.

.__. What? It's Zelda Wii U. The heck?

Do you even game, bro? 'Cause I'm waiting for a exclusive RPG to Wii U, Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Remember that newly reveal 'X' game? Yup, that's it.

So Wii U actually has good graphics. Graphic of Wii is inferior to PS2!

Nah. Do it yourself like me.

Don't go north of the port city soon though. There is too many undead gathered in one place you can't beat them even with a 4 companion team on level 3.

Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii had great graphics, but a somewhat small overworld, but X is much larger. Heaps larger.

Metroid: Other M had excellent graphics for a Wii game, that alone proves you do not need extreme PC power. But it had a bad plot. I don't get the big deal.

Mario Kart 8 had the best graphics for a Mario related game. Well, no, not really, it was the artstyle that stood out.

Zelda Wii U is an upcoming title, so no need to compare it now, but I just wanted to mention it. There may be more to the picture, especially if you check out GameXplain's discussion on Zelda Wii U: https://www.youtube....geEWevG8X_6PUOQ. Also, there may be more to the overworld than you think, if you ever hear Andy mention Kyoto, then you might understand. ;)

Xenoblade Chronicles had great art direction and its graphics were very impressive considering what console it was on but the hardware limitations of the Wii let it down especially if you had a decent sized TV. If I could pick only 1 Wii game to get a HD makeover this would be it.

As for Zelda Wii U. I loved the E3 footage. I'm less impressed with the ideas that Aonuma has presented regarding Zelda Wii U. An open world Zelda game sounds like a good idea on paper, until you remember Twilight Princess. Twilight princess had a huge world most of it was very generic, it was filled with huge chunks of nothing, it's only function was to connect dungeons, towns/villages and to ride your horse. If Zelda Wii U's world is going to be massive then there should be more stuff in it, more places to visit and more things to do in general.

I'm also concerned with repetition. I despise repetition, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks and Skyward Sword are obsessed with sending you back into the same areas and same dungeons repeatedly and I don't like it.

I did not get very far in Link between Worlds but I'm also concerned about non linearity, I'm not sure how well it works since I have not experienced it for myself.

Perhaps Aonuma has plans I assume.

DLC, anybody?

The new Holmes title by Frogwares, that's all I'm looking forward to.
