Come to think about amount of effort they putting into romances. What if... they make a game completely without them? They could concentrate on story, characters, making game world much more believable and detalized.

Maybe they should also get rid of classes, races, gender selection, story choices so the game will be even MOAR detailled and realistic™

I don't think they put more effort into romances than anything else. This is a warped perception that seems to be floating around because of how much we, the fans, chat, ask, speculate and get excited about them.

How is romance being implemented into the game not believable/not adding detail to the world? Romance and sex is a natural thing--the most natural thing, in my opinion--that occurs in the real world.

There is nothing wrong with romances in the game. However, there does appear to be too much focus on them in the marketing of the game. It seems to be discussed more than the game itself. Also I don't like how Bioware has spilled the beans on who afe romance options. I would have like to discover that myself while playing the game.

Where ? The romance related announcements where made during Comic con (Cass and Cullen), GaymerX (Iron bull), the Raptr Q&A (Cass and Cullen's orientation), a Heroes of cosplay episode (Sera), and few lines on a character blurb (Dorian, Josephine).

 

What gameplay/trailer video actually even mention romances ? None, all I see is dragon fights, abilities, open world, choices/consequences, companions, customization, managing your Inquisition, etc....romance only ever comes up on twitter, tumblr, conventions because whose allow for direct dev-fan interaction and the fans are the ones asking for romance info.

as they already stated they don't focus talks on romances . we the fans and media pester and pester about them because we want them so yes they talk about them because we make the big deal about romance not them.

if you have played the previous games you would know romance is a very small segment and you can choose not to partake in those romances at all
