Depends on the situation and how far I am into the game. If it is something minor and I passed it an hour ago I'll leave it but if it was ten minutes I will fix it. Major decisions I will go back for if it is around an hour and I haven't accomplished something else and don't want to have to redo it.
Game style: No retreat or rewinder?

Usually my first playthrough is a "no mercy" run for me. If a character dies then he or she stays dead, no matter who. For me it makes me more invested in the story.

My first playthrough (sometimes first few) is no reloads unless I die in battle or if I pick an option that I thought meant something else. It usually ends terrible, but I usually have the most fun.
In my later playthroughs I try different options and am okay reloading. In my much later plays I look up outcomes online to make sure I didn't miss anything. : P

For a first play through, I try to play while reloading as little as possible, for the most natural narrative experience. After that, I try to milk the system for all its worth as I try to craft specific endings and story lines.

I often play strategy games with a permadeath feature (sometimes I play games because they have this feature) and there I always avoid reloading unless I feel it is absolutely necessary.
I follow the same system here. I do not reload unless I've made a decision that I regret moments after making it or I accidentally choose the wrong option.

On my first run, I only reload if I die or if I hit the wrong button. (And by that, I don't mean 'that didn't turn out how I thought it was going to' but 'whoops, I meant to select the Diplomatic dialgoue and chose Murderknife instead.' Yes, this has happened more than once. Yes, my hand-eye co-ordination is dreadful.)
On subsequent playthroughs I metagame the hell out of everything anyway, so there are occasionally 'wait, I didn't want that option!' reloads.

I try not to, but one time Garrus didn't make the suicide mission, so I reloaded, I couldn't lose a bro.
I think this time I'm going to force myself to eat cauliflower if I reload. So I can see how I would affect the world.
(I detest cauliflower)
Though sometimes I misunderstand a choice and well that's on me, just gotta RP that the Inquisitor wasn't really listening. ![]()

For me it depends on how far I gotten and how much of a pain in the ass it was for me to get there. Is it worth go through again for that one thing? Is worth a full head of hair? If not screw it and move on. ![]()

on the first playthrough i usually follow my gut and stand by the decisions (unless i click on the wrong opton by mistake or something) but I still use the F5 quicksave all the time and i mean all the time. enter a hallway f5, run to other side of hallway f5 , finish fight f5...i don't like replaying stuff in case of a crash or whatever lol and it turns into a habit.
can't tell how often my hand started moving to f5 while playing swtor or something
