No real information beside the fact that it has a "garden".

I think this will got with the keep customization stuff close to release. They need to have stuff to talks about at Gamescon and PAX Prime, you know.

I'm almost sure it's in the Frostback Mountains. Just look at the pictures and it also makes sense because if the Peace Summit and Breach take place in the Temple of Sacred Ashes, then wouldn't Cassandra and Leliana bring the Inquisitor somewhere close? Also, central location between Ferelden and Orlais.

Way back along I made a topic speculating it would be in the Frostback mountains.

http://forum.bioware...back-mountains/

It would make sense seeing as it would be in between Orlais and Ferelden (the two countries we will visit) and it would make it very easy to defend. Also the concept art of what is likely Skyhold seemed to be in very mountainous terrain (See info in link above for more details).

Wherever it is I imagine it served some other purpose before it was Skyhold.

well, the only two snowy mountain regions that border orlais are the frostbacks to the east splitting orlais and ferelden, the other range is the hunterhorn mountains to the north bordering the anderfels.  the gamordan peaks to the south of the western approach are another choice, but since the approach is all desert, i dont picture it being snowy
