I have like 85 gigs available and want to download the while ME2 game to my HDD.... will I be able to do this? Will it prevent me from doing the disk swaps?

Thanks to anyone in the 'know'

It's my understanding that any game downloaded to the hardrive still needs to be played with the actual disk. The HDD is just there, to prevent scratches.

Well, the disk must be present as a fraud measure, but in the case of this game, dunno if its possible......?

id say you will still need to switch discs but you will be able to import both discs on to the HDD. i.e. you wont have to uninstall disc 1 to install disc 2.

The purpose of the 360 game install to hard drive is for a quieter disk tray and faster loading times. Downloading it to your HDD is not the same a PC though. You can install both but will still need to disk swap it'll just be quieter and faster.

So when you install it to the HDD, you only have to install the first disk, or both? Someone please answer.

You can install the game on your HDD (I read its around 12gb, so yes both disks need to be installed) but YOU WILL NEED TO DISK SWAP. As stated above its an anti piracy measure.

That's cool. I'm gonna install it to my HDD then play it and stay off here for awhile.

Allowing hard drive installs is also a measure to combat the very pervasive Red ring of Death problem, as the disk drive constantly spins the disc while playing, creating added heat to the already stressed Xbox.

I install all my games to the hard drive for this reason.

I heard over 12, some say that you will have to install when you swap discs, you only swap once though.

yeah, same here and Ive never had issues with it.....really, its a win-win, and when done, you can always delete the game portion....
