I'd rather the movie have nothing to the with Shepard and the trilogy at all and instead expand the universe.

Well I can comfort you: it's not racist. Female is not a race.

The Cipher, although space magic at it's finest, is quite the integral part of the story. Especially if they plan on turning the entire trilogy into movies.

If anything will not be put into the movie, it'll be the interactions with Al-Jilani: zero relevance for the story.

How do they know they have to go to Ilos?

1. Caucasian is a race though. I was mainly saying he will be white, not african-american, asian or any other races.

2. From what I remember, they got half the Cipher from the green Asari on Feros and the other half from Benezia. Why not just get the full cypher from Benezia?

3. I know that punching the reporter has no relevance to the story but I was just trying to think of some comic relief. The only two the stuck out were the reporter and Conrad Verner. I was just saying that I would use some renegade options but mostly for comic relief purposes. Also; Big Stupid Jellyfish springs to mind.

4. I can't really remember why they made it to Ilos in the main game (the cipher?) so I guess it'll be the same.

I think the movie should let action happen centered on characters other than Shepard. Sure, Shepard is the main character, but the movie offers an opportunity to split the team in a natural way, Shepard leading a squad for objective A while another team member leads a squad for objective B. That would really help the pacing of the movie and allow a lot more content to be touched on.

I think the movie should have nothing to do with Shepard at all (the outcry will be huge especially the femshep fans), just expand the universe with new characters instead.

I have no interest in paying to watch somebody else's Shepard say and do things I wouldn't.

If I had to guess, as I've said in the past, their canon would be Male/Spacer/SoleSurvivor/Soldier/Paragon/Liaramancer who saves the Council, blows up the Collector Base, cures the Genophage, sides with the Geth for teh dramaz because they can't have everything go right, and ultimately chooses Synthesis.

Making a film of a game works about as well as making a game of a film.

Would it be any better if they concentrated on turning the story into a film instead of the game?
