Any idea when exactly this panel will be taking place?

I'd probably be satisfied with a bit of "when and where" regarding the setting, tbh

Did the survey.

Basically what I told them was to take Mass Effect 1 as the foundation of the next game and then improve the mechanics from there.

-Planetary exploration should be back (of course improved and better integrated into the story)

-Inventory and loots to reward our exploration (possibly armours and weapons for our companions like in ME1)

-More Hub worlds.

-Vehicles

From the story I really don't care to much as long as it is a sequel and the reapers/Cerberus are gone for good.

Hoping someone is recording this panel since I would like to see it because not everyone have free time to travel.

I re-iterated my distaste of the end.  MEHEM all the way!!

I find my jets have cooled immensely because of how I fed into the ME3 hype - was even telling friends to get it and play the series - blah blah blah.  I sure got laughed at over that one.  Dead horse is dead - but I will not ever again pre-order anything from Bioware.  I want Bioware to recapture the glory though!

I like the idea of exploration - getting into the lore.  ME1 and 2 had tons of it - and I loved it.  I liked the ME1 style loot system and customization.  I liked the hugeness of the Citadel - remember being so lost looking for that last Keeper  :/  (the first 4 runthroughs).  I liked the minigames in ME2 - and so many of the various side missions.  I still play both of ME1 and ME2 and all of the  DLC.  I really hope that ME Next has the polish of ME2.  To me, the story is the most important - tied in with character interaction.  It was fun to take different teammates just to see what their take on it was.

Combat is a big one for me - and ME3 took it over the top!  It was a lot of fun, except for that one button to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them.  In ME1 if you touched a wall you were stuck to it.  If you were crouched, you stayed that way - it was horrible at times.  ME2 was a lot better.  ME3 was a further iteration - and the MP was really great, fast, and a lot of fun.  Just don't run around a corner, lest you stick to it and get killed.  How or why the game thought that it was a good idea to crouch right at that time is beyond words.

However, they can scrap the resource gathering, the "patent" exploration maps of ME1, as well as some of the paragon/renegade lockouts that forced you to play missions in a certain order.

I think that ME Next has a lot of potential.  I really hope they get it right.  However, I have been burned - and shall remain wary.
