Following BiggyDX's post on fictional characters, let's have a discussion for fictional, race-specific weapons that never made it in ME3 multiplayer. What characteristics would the following weapons have had?
Here are some from the top of my head.
- Blood Pack Sniper Rifle - Shoots three spikes at once. Hold the button down to narrow the angle of attack or fire normally to have spread and hit multiple targets at once
- Blood Pack Assault Rifle
- Quarian Sniper Rifle - Restores player's shields while draining enemy shields. Does very little damage (no Reegar). Staggers enemies when hit
- Quarian SMG
- Asari Assault Rifle - Warp tipped rounds do extra damage against barriers and armor. Less effective against shields.
- Asari Sniper Rifle - Single shot weapon with long reload animation (even when reload canceling). Fires a projectile that creates a singularity on impact. Enemies are primed for biotic explosion.
- Asari SMG
- Collector Shotgun
- Collector Pistol - Slow rate of fire but with regenerating ammo. Damage would be between a Paladin and a Talon.
- Geth Pistol
- Krogan SMG - Shoots super-heated spikes ala a Brute Spike Thrower from the Halo series. Delays health regeneration.
- Krogan Sniper Rifle
- Salarian Assault Rifle
- Salarian SMG
- Salarian Sniper Rifle - Hold the trigger down to lock on and shoot a guided micro-grenade that explodes on contact and staggers the target. Fire normally to shoot Scorpion like micro-grenades.
