I just have a bad feeling that she will either die in DAI or not be as pivotal to the story as fans of her would hope. Morrigan is the only Bioware character I actually cared about. I hope they don't abuse her in DLC in the future. Thoughts?

I don't think so on the latter because Bioware has said many times that Morrigan plays a big and important role in the game. They even said DAI is her moment.

Which doesn't necessarily rule out her dying, though. It could be that she's potentially someone to sacrifice in the name of closing the rifts. (I offer this PURELY as a speculative example, for the record, not as saying that such a sacrifice will be demanded.)

Isn't there already a Thread about her?

Which could mean that the Inquisitor may be given the choice to help Morrigan in her plan. I'd like to learn more about Morrigan, and perhaps she may reference her son and her love interest (the Hero of Ferelden, assuming the Warden-Commander romanced her and trusted her). Meeting Morrigan again should prove interesting for the Inquisitor, although I'm hoping her potential Xanatos Gambit isn't tied to Celene securing the throne (as I'd prefer to leave Gaspard and his nemesis to their squabbling over the throne).

They can say whatever they want, it doesn't change anything, we won't know for sure until we get it

They said her child plays a big role in this game
I doubt they ever stated the OGB will play a big role. However I have seen/heard them mention that if the OGB happened it will be more than just mentioned. Even then it can never play a big role because the child won't even exist if one never did the dark ritual. And the ultimate sacrifice is Bioware's default canon.

I don't mean big as in lead role but it will be more than a slight cameo I'm sure

I was so disappointed when Morrigan didn't show up in DA2. Now that I know I will see her again in Inquisition, I have a silly nervousness to contend with. I swear, it's like that woman is an actual.....woman. Gaider crafted a gem wit her.

Well, some good news is that we don't have any evidence that she has the potential to die in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
I mean, no less indication than we do any other character anyway. It's technically always a possibility (as far as we know, anything can happen) but it's definitely not something to stress over at this time.
What BioWare has told us, is that she plays a major role inside of Inquisition! Whether her fate is amazing, devastating, or anything in between, we'll find out in less than 3 months. I'm just excited to see her again.
