Circle mages, apostates, blood mages, magisters, Rivaini Seers, Saarebas, Dalish Keepers or Witches of the Wilds? I think it's the Witches of the Wilds because they have such a big influence on Thedas and have such an unknown power. What do you guys think?

The Tevinter Imperium and its Archon & Magisters by a large margin, they command armies that rival Orlais and would pose a major threat to the southern nations were it not for the Qunari.
Thats the case with political power and influence anyway, As far as raw magical power goes its a tossup between The Magisters and The Witches of the wild.. But we don't know much about the witches of the wild beyond their seemingly pro-dragon agenda.

To put things into prospective however: Major Dragon Age Inquisition spoiler below

Spoiler

Then theres the fact that they entered The Black/Golden City with their magic.

Many of these are overlapping. But I'd say the magisters of the Tevinter Imperium are the most influential mages in Thedas by a fair bit.

Tevinter. A whole nation full of mages is much more dangerous than a few witches.

Hey, we're getting a new faction, the Venatori, in Inquisition, so I think maybe we're being a little premature at the moment. They're probably going to throw things off.

Besides, I think it's less 'as an organization' and more individual skill and abilities over what they've studied as.

The Venatori are Tevinter mages.

I'm guessing they are like the Resolutionists, a crazy off shoot.

The magisters oblivious holds most influence by far but David Gaider recently confirmed that groups of mages are equally skilled.

From google,

.
the ability to do something or act in a particular way, especially as a faculty or quality. or

the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.

Now, let's talk!

"The capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events."

In that case, I'd say it's between Tevinter and the Circle. The Circle may be more restricted, but it is very widespread and probably as influencial with mages in Thedas as Tevinter is with its citizens/subjects. Individually, a Tevinter mage is probably more powerful than a Circle mage, but as a group, probably equal. However, I don't think the Circle has ever been fully "unleashed" before, and Tevinter has a hard time with the Qunari, and the Circle helped in the first Qunari invasions but I think they were still restricted.

But is that pre or post rebellion? I think it depends on how much support outside of their group they can rustle up, and I honestly have no idea at this point.

Whichever group the PC happens to be part of. Seriously though, my guess would be the Tevinter if just because mages there run the show. Having to answer to no one and having to stay on the ball to avoid someone taking your place would make sure only the smartest and most powerful survive.

I dont know much about Rivaini seers, so excluding them id say Witches of the Wilds are the most powerful and then Tevinter magisters, then Keepers, Saarebaas and then Circle mages.

Magisters or dalish keepers. They have powerful knowledge. Poor saarebas live enslaved and are unable to study magic further.

Most powerful group of mages is of course tevinter as they have the greatest knowledge about magic ,magic experience in practice and well blood magic.

Tevinters of course. They're not restricted and have resources to supplement magical researches. Their magic should be far more advanced, than any other group's.

Tevinter Magisters are not the most powerful because they're competitive and greedy with their knowledge.

It wasn't a confirmation of anything. He was saying that each group has different skill sets.

Saarebas have limited magic knowledge so In my eyes, I put at the bottom.
