As crazy as an idea as this might seem and as much as I highly doubt Bioware would plan on implementing such a thing...

What would you do if, upon obtaining your copy of Inquisition, booting it up and getting to the character creation screen you were suddenly confronted with the option of either starting a fresh new character or importing your Warden or Hawke to play as The Inquisitor? BUT! By choosing one, you doom the other to a short, untimely, offscreen death only to be mentioned in passing?

To me it'd be amazing to have that choice to continue either character. And it would make perfect sense, for the Warden at least, to be there in that time and place, if He/She were to head east toward Weisshaupt Fortress to join up with the Grey Wardens after the events of Origins/Awakening. Hawke's reasoning might be harder to explain but I'm sure He/She would have good need to get the heck out of Kirkwall after everything that went down, and seeking the help of the Wardens would seem like a good enough idea as any.

Like I said, I doubt Bioware is actually planning on doing anything like that but it'd make for a great surprise if they're keeping it under wraps till the game launches.

Well, no offence, but I would hate it if this happened, it would seem like a cheap way to wrap up the disappearances of hawke and the warden and it would be completely unnecessary .

But if it did happen I would choose my Hawke seeing that my Warden is going to have a pretty grisly death from the calling anyway.

Newsflash, the Warden is a ghoul wandering the Deep Roads and Hawke is now a crazed hermit living on top of a mountain, not wearing any pants. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Varric's entire involvement in the Inquisition is finding out where Hawke's pants went, and coincidentally, mind.

I'd easily doom my warden 10 times out of time over Hawke.

I've already invested myself in the new character.  But I'd choose Hawke over the Warden.

neither of them.

and i think you should really leave these two characters alone. Hawke is good for nothing and Warden Commander have his hands full.

If the Warden isn't an elf mage wearing a dwarven helmet, it's not my Warden. Imposter, body double, whatever - my Warden clearly wasn't at the scene. :P

But seriously, I wore the Helm of the Deep as my elf mage all the way through Origins as my iconic headwear. Broke my heart that the DLC didn't transfer to the other campaigns.

What a bad idea, in addition to me lot wanting to play Hawke nor the Warden anymore, as their stories are done, it's just dumb.

If I wanted to play either of them again I'd play DAO or DA2.

I'd create an Inquisitor. I had fun with my Warden and Hawke but it's time to let them go. I want to see someone new, not just play the same character over and over again.

I would be upset since my Warden tragically died an accidental death on a hunting trip for some R&R after saving all of Ferelden. Talking about retconning a character death.

Inquisitor, I don't really feel tied to the others? Also, I have a tendency to recreate the same few characters (using same names to there themes) in EVERY game I can. So the 'Warden' to me, ended up being my Hawkes, and will end up being my Inquisitors. I'm tied to my character concepts, not how I end up making them in any given game so... yeah I never get the Warden obsession personally.

Actually, this is why I'm so happy for the Keep. I can make all the choices I want to but I can make the Warden and Hawke different then what I did originally so they don't get all weird n mixed up. Another bonus for me, with the keep, is that the Warden, and Hawke, if they ever show up, will have there predetermined look. Makes it easier for me to distance my self from all those versions of the Hawke's I played. Honestly don't think the Warden or Hawke will show up, visually... hawke might, Warden definitely wont, probably have a Rep that's linked to em if anything.

Anyway yeah, Inquisitor cause that's far more interesting to me.

That's extremely easy. I choose the Warden. Hawke can die a short, untimely, offscreen death for all I care.

It would only make sense if your Warden or Hawke are locked out of Inquisitor LI options. Oh, the RAGE! :P
