I kinda miss a the pet mubari from DAO. An animal that shows a lot of affection to the player and encourages a lot of conversion between companions would be great. Maybe Bioware can give us another animal or mystical animal companion in a future DLC pack. Maybe we can have a pet griffin that we can''t personally fly. It can either fight on the ground or sneak up on enemies from the air, grab them, and drop them.

There was another discussion of this a while ago, you may want to do a search,  Some have thought there could be pets, birds seem to be present in some of the art.

I definitely wouldn't be opposed to a pet as long as it didn't use a companion slot. Though I am quite sick of the mabari.

The only way I'd want the mabari back is if we have the option to muzzle it. Stupid dog never stopped barking in Origins. When I played a mage I would cast cone of cold on it in the camp to get it to stop.

I'd like to see the return of the summon-able pets like the wolf and bear from the Ranger specialization in DAO.

Hey,

While I would like other options, I would still love a Mabari (after all: they are a mark of royalty/nobility in Ferelden and they are supposedly great judges of character, which is kind of an ego-boost :) )

greetings LAX

ps: I'd like a cat (Ser Pounce A Lot was fun :D ^^)

I'd like to have a summoned pet again like the mabari in DA2. I'd rather not have a pet that takes up a party slot, but I would like the pet to be hardier and more useful in battle than Hawke's mabari was. Exotic pets like a dragonling would be greatly appreciated
