So I finally got around to getting DA2 and want to get The Exiled Prince DLC but I'm already in Act 2. I got curious and looked up whether or not I could start the DLC in Act 2 or if I had to go to the Chanter's board in Act 1 first. All I can really find is dated information from when the game first released stating that Bioware was aware that people were having problems accessing the DLC if they were already passed Act 1 when they DLed it. Is this still the case or can you now access the DLC at any point? Thanks in advance.

Sebastian's act 2 quest (Repentance) should be available from the very beginning of that act. Check your quest log after you've been to the Hawke Estate - if it is not there, you need Duty (his act 1 quest). My guess is that you do need Duty.

Haven't tried it myself, but according to the DA wiki website, the first quest Duty can be completed either in Act 1 or Act 2 (if done in Act 2, then Repentance will be immediately available following the completion of Duty).
