Personally, I think the "lizard-like mounts" that Bioware have been describing may be wyverns. We've already seen one in Inquisition footage in a desert environment, so they could make great mounts for said areas - being able to traverse sandy dunes much faster than traditional mounts, eg. horses.

Sadly, ours probably won't be that big. 
Surely the animations for a wyvern walking/running would be a LOT different than the horse/"unicorn"/"Red Hart" they've shown... I'd just be surprised if they spent extra resources crafting an entirely separate rig used to make the wyvern... And if you scaled a wyvern down to the size of a horse, I think it would look really weird. I'm pretty sure when they say lizard-like mounts, they're saying that because it's NOT a wyvern. I hope I'm wrong, though!

I'd love that. It could easily be my favourite mount, at least compaired to regular horses, hallas and the "unicorn". Hve we seen anything else?
