Nope. Arlathan dreamer.
"Elder One" sounds like a hell of a strange title for the Maker.

No one knows for certain who the Elder One is. It's ambiguous at this point, but there is some speculations about who it might be, as you can tell from earlier in your thread.

... you know I was just speculating, right?
I could be dead wrong. Elder One could end up referring to the Maker, as unlikely as that seems to me.

Why peoples ask questions about plot when no one even played in this game yet so how anyone could provide answer on that question?

It's Larry King, finally coming to reap the souls of the living.

Could be Corypheus from the Legacy DLC. He's an ancient Magister that broke into the Golden City so the Elder One angle works there. He has credibility this way with Magisters mooks like Alexius who are doing his bidding, he stepped physically into the Fade, the Golden City no less, so this Veil Tear business sounds right up alley to me (he's probably still trying to get back there), and his story wasn't finished at the end of DA2. Just a guess though.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, the name Corypheus means "leader of the chorus", and if that, in addition to the other clues, doesn't peg him as the grand puppeteer in this, I don't know what does.

Im spanish so I cant tell for sure: Is it possible that he says "the elder ones"?
I thought so when I saw the demo, and I inmidiately thought Reapers 2.0, which I liked, since Mass Effect 1 was the best story telling game I have ever played in my life.

Honestly, it's probably some generic but powerful demon that Alexius lost control over and is now wrecking everything. I doubt it's anymore more than an arc boss, and certainly not the Big Bad of the game or anything.

Yes it's the Reapers...
actually there are only two things we know:
- they are elder
- there's one of them
And thinking on it further we don't know either of those for sure do we?

My best guess is an ancient demon, ancient Tevinter Magister, or an ancient Elven Dream.

Either an Ancient Arlathan Elf or Ancient Tevinter Magister or a very powerful Fade Spirit that has been around for a long time.

Due to her age exceeding the Andraste-era and her mysterious agenda she's had all through out the series, my speculation is that it's Flemeth. But that's also because my metaphorical fingers have been crossed since we were told that we have a mysterious antagonist, that that "antagonist" is Flemeth. ![]()
Only three months to go until we find out who "The Elder One" is, for certain!
