We're talking about the remaining romances.Back on topic, I'm not sure whether or not I want Varric as an LI. If he is, then I'll totally romance him, but I'm not sure if I'm hoping he'll be one or not. I know my friend John is, though.
Even if Vivienne does happen to be bisexual, though I'd like her to be straight it probably won't change anything. If you're male and decide to romance her should she be an option, that's all you'll ever likely know, women may not even come up in conversation. In truth the only romances so far who I feel may even talk of past experiences should they have any are Josephine and Dorian as sexuality seems relevant to them as characters. Sera's a lesbian but it doesn't seem integral to her and from the Iron Bull we already kinda know he's slept with more than a few people so why go into it further, I can imagine only Dorian stating he's gay and Josephine bringing up she has no particular preference.

I think Varric would make for a fun LI, a bromance that becomes something more rather than the usual therapy sex. It's nice to see a change on occasion

The 8 LIs are from the companions and advisors, so the only option possibly left for straight males (in addition to the existing 2) is Vivienne.
There might be a female Qunari outside of the Inquisition who we can flirt with.

They said it is for story reasons. Iron Bull's was tech related but John Epler made sure that Iron Bull could romance dwarves so if they can make scenes like that, I highly doubt it's technical even if they did not already tell us two characters were race gated for story reasons.

(I think it's far more likely that the two we haven't heard about are the race-gated ones, but we don't know for certain.)

You're afraid bisexual women are more attracted to other women, you mean?
You could say that. What bothers me is that I can't actually be both genders. There's always the thought of "being a man, I can't offer her what a woman could." I know it might sound ridiculous to you but I feel it could cause problems in the long run.

Then who can it be? Sera is already gated - as gay character, Dorian too. "Only human" Cassandra and Cullen? Cullen was interested in elven mage in DAO, why would he be restricted from it now? Besides, both are already gated as well - they are straight.
I do not know, of course, but it looks like already known romaces are not those that race-gated.
