Would feel incredibly guilty over: Varric/Solas, Varric/Blackwall, Blackwall/Solas, etc.
I'd really like Vivienne to be a LI and the last male to be bi so everyone has equal options.
I don't romance females so my druthers would be Solas & Varric. However, I'm placing bets on Solas & Vivienne.
I want Vivienne/Blackwall most, to be honest. I'll accept whoever the LIs are, however.
I would kill for Varric/Blackwall.
I expect Viv/Solas, which is fine. They seem cool. And it would be mean to the gal-chasers to deny them equality.
But goddamnit, I want some body hair this round. Big beefy guys, yes. My original godtier was Bull/Varric/Blackwall. And I know I'm going to be playing a dwarf gal first, soo......

Do you think last two will be race-gated and towards who? Varric could be dwarf only but no idea of others.
I think they have to be race-gated, because in the Raptr Q&A it was said that there are two race-gated romances and there are only two left. Unless I missed a race-gated one that's been announced?
Instead of listing the combinations, wouldn't a priority list have the same results?

The only LIs officially not race-gated are Josephine and Iron Bull. Everyone else already announced have the chance to be race gated. They didn't even mention Cullen and Cassandra orientation until the Raptr chat and we have known they were LIs since March. Sera was announced in a cosplayer show and Dorian was officially said to be an LI in the facebook comment section.
I have always been a Varric fan and I find Solas "intriguing". So my choice would be Varric/Solas. If they are both race gated then this seems logical. If I had to give one up then Varric/whomever. That being said, as a long time Varric fan I am used to disappointment in this arena (DA2 sucked for the straight ladies). So I will hope for, but not expect a Varric romance.
To the developers, since Sunday completed my second decade of being 30 you could always swing me a belated B-Day present. Just a thought.

Honestly, tho, I like them all. Just for Blackwall, been there/done that with the Grey Wardens. Also, I think it would be unfair to have two males, buuuut I also can't deny that I would like to see more non-human LIs.

I like all of them, so I'll be happy no matter what. But if Varric is confirmed, there will be some intense fangirling!
One of them is almost assuredly Vivvine. I cant see a scenario where they dont have an even split with 8 options. Im not thrilled with this, because i have no interest in Vivvine at all, but there it is.
Between Varric, Solas, or Blackwall im not sure.
I dont think it will be Blackwall. I think he's too loyal to the Grey Wardens, and too close to his calling. I cant imagine he is the type of person to get involved with another when he knows it will only end it tragedy.
I really really really would prefer it to be Varric, but i honestly think Solas has a better chance.
The only think i can see stopping Solas from being an option is complete lack of interest. He seems like a man that likes being alone, and is far too interested in his research to seek companionship.
What I would like to see: Vivienne/Varric.
What I expect most to see: Either Vivienne/Solas
(But I can also see Vivienne/Blackwell happening).
With all four of these characters, I can see reasons why we could/couldn't romance them, especially with us hearing that some are "too busy for romances". They all in some way or another seem to potentially fit into that context? I'm definitely probably just thinking about it way too hard.
Vivienne sounds like she's so poised and mindful of how she's perceived, that I can imagine her not wanting to indulge in romance while she's helping out the inquisition. That being said, I would love to have the chance to romance her, and it'd make sense for her to be an LI if there is going to be gender-equal romances. Seeing an icy personality that can hurt you with words just as much as magic be able to melt her personality down for a romance, would be fascinating to see. I would love to see that.
For Varric, it would be amazing for everyone who's wanted to romance him to be able to. But in the comics (and some of his dialogue in DA2), it sounds like Varric might have a reason to not want to be in a romantic relationship with anybody. But I also could be entirely wrong. In fact, it would be rather adorable to see his character progression if he got to be in a relationship with the Inquisitor, especially given the little we found out about his past in the comics.
Meanwhile, Solas has spent his entire life on his own (or that's what it sounds like), and his life has been very dedicated to the Fade and unraveling it's secrets. Does he have time for romance? Maybe not, or maybe it's something that's slightly foreign to him (or maybe not, I don't know him well enough) but that doesn't mean that he's not willing to try. That would be a cute approach for a romance. Same goes for Blackwell. He seems very proud to be a Grey Warden, and I can see him having an earnest romance just as much as I can see him not wanting to get involved with him due to his inevitable short life.
I'm also curious to see how they go about sexual orientation for these last two LIs. For instance, Vivienne; I personally really hope that, if she is a romance, that she's bi. Both because...I'm lesbian, and would love to have a chance to romance her as a FemInquisitor. But also because it would be nice to see a straight/bi/gay ratio so that different orientations have a similar amount of romance options. But the developers have also stated multiple times that the romance options are designed because that's how that character's orientation is, and they're not designed because they need "a certain amount" of gay/bi/straight LIs.
At any rate, I'm excited to hear the last two romance options. The ones who I've thought might be a romance, are. Now I (obviously) don't have a clue and hope we find out the rest very soon!
