Im fairly certain Blackwall and Solas are of similar ages.
Solas is early to mid 40s.
The only LIs officially not race-gated are Josephine and Iron Bull. Everyone else already announced have the chance to be race gated. They didn't even mention Cullen and Cassandra orientation until the Raptr chat and we have known they were LIs since March. Sera was announced in a cosplayer show and Dorian was officially said to be an LI in the facebook comment section.
Good point! Though announcing someone to be race-gated a bit after announcing them as a LI seems like a risky move... I could see that causing some... unpleasantness...
In my personal fantasy world it'd be Solas/Varric. However, that wouldn't be fair with the uneven male/female choices. I just really like the idea of Viv not being a LI for some reason.
Think it'll be: Vivienne/Varric or Vivienne/Solas. I'm leaning more towards Varric because I've been on too much of a roller coaster with all this and am setting myself up for disappointment.

One reason why I think it will be Varric over Solas is because we never had a dwarf romance and an elf who's not a love interest.

They didn't mind to do it with the sexual orientation. Also, the unpleasantness might be less if they announce it after all the LIs are revealed than if they announced when they first reveal a LI. Just imagine if they had announced Cullen and/or Cassandra has race-gated last March...

I want Solas and am not really interested in ("romancing") any of the remaining characters. I suppose I'd want (bi) Viv for equality, but I personally don't really care about parity. I just want the characters that I want to be available and I don't really know who they are yet, of course.
So, first choice:
Solas/Whoever
Second and last choice:
Not Solas/Not Solas/Solas if it turns out he kind of sucks

For me, I'd be equally happy with either Viv/Solas or Viv/Blackwall.
I'd be okay with Blackwall/Solas, because I want to romance them both, but I would feel guilty, and would prefer Viv to be a LI.
I like Varric a lot, but of the 4, he's the one I least want to romance, so Vivienne/Varric would be my least favorite scenario.
Then again, i rather suspect that Dorian will be my new Fenris and thus almost impossible not to romance on every playthrough, hahaha. My gf already makes fun of me hardcore for how much I love Fenris.

I was just about to edit my last comment to say the same! hahaha It's definitely no less risky than that. My POV on spreading those kind of details out rather than getting them all out at once is that of just ripping off the bandaid and getting it over with. I think it's less painful and drawn out that way.

Blackwall seems cool, but I have zero interest in romancing him. I adore Viv, but less as a romance option than Varric and Solas.

Solas doesn't necessarily have to be race gated- it could amoung the previous LI's. I never heard anything about them mentioning that the remaining LI's would be race gated- unless they did somewhere and I didn't read it.
Some theories on why Solas may be race-gated posit that he would like someone who can experience the fade as he does - dwarves don't dream and qunari claim to not dream.
