Ah, yes, female gamers! How we have dismissed that claim....

Lol. Oh dammit Sparatus ... why do you have to be so adorable and so annoying at the same time?

The notion that there are female gamers? Psst, ridiculous. It's more likely that there's an island of warrior, virgin princesses.  Cassandra Saturn is as close as we'll get to a grill gamer.

So your her one fan club member?

That wasn't the question. I wanted to know if you would drool on Megawug's Asari for example. What if he had a Liara skin for her?

Actually not, you have to spill it out now!

--------

To those who doubt, there are a lot of ladies on this forum and I've seen pictures. They're all hotties and some probably even prettier than any Asari Adept.

Does this mean I need to watch your new video?

I almost never drool, but I can enjoy the view regardless of who is on the other side of the world.

Nope!

And way prettier !

I have been mistaken for a girl when playing asari.  That is more bizarre in my opinion.

Dobby... Let me put it this way... If salarians really looked like you... Asari definitely wouldn't be considered the sexiest species in the galaxy :P

*blushes* Hmmm... the Dobby species should be the next new species in ME4MP. Make it happen Bioware!

K I know what you look like and Salarian's don't look hot, that's all I'm gonna say.

Dobby is a hottie and comparing her to a gunslinging toad is offensive ;)

Her "antlers" are hotter.

:o I have antlers?!

That is quite literally one of the stupidest things I've ever heard in my life, and I've been to church.

He-Man-and-Barbie.jpg

I have to off-topic comment on this a bit.

See, the thing about this is that Barbie-dolls (and the way women/girls) are objectified and depicted in popular culture) presents an unrealistic expectation. It is basically what men want women to look like.

Whereas when men are "objectified" and depicted as overly muscular, it is a depiction of what men want to look like.

Basically, both depictions are empowering to men.

The background to the silly title is a peculiar exchange I had with a player a couple of days ago. It started when he asked me what a girl like me was doing playing the Juggernaut and why I wasn't playing with my Barbies instead. I asked him what he meant by 'barbies' and in his opinion, girls only play Asari and Furies on ME3....

Do female gamers prefer certain kits or am I the golden exception that confirms the fact, as we say in my language?

It wouldn't be surprising if some people showed a preference for kits of the same gender as themselves, but most people don't, and what that person said to you is literally one of the stupidest things I've ever heard- that girls should only play asaris and furies? Really?

I dunno, that He-Man is pretty damn unrealistic. I'd say even more than the Barbie doll. So how it that empowering to men? It creates the same unrealistic expectations.

To be honest, I never understood the "crisis" with Barbie dolls. There are much greater evils in this world that go unnoticed.

My view regarding gender and gaming: What does it matter what's in between your legs as long as everyone is having fun? (and being nice to each other... I know its naïve, but I like to think it)

Nah, He-Man is holding a battle sword with a six pack abs and bear pelt over his package. IDK about you but that's pretty damn hard to measure up to.

I tried his super hawt attire one time but the girl jumped out the window when I pulled out the battle sword.

Well she thought one of two things most likely either that she was going to be killed or raped, you should have told her you was trying out your Halloween costume.

Well the bear pelt plum smuggler had the gears turning in her head, the battle sword just kicked that mental process into overdrive.
