You can't just toss a multiplayer mode into a game just for the sake of MP. There are games where MP works well, and games where it does not. There's a reason multiplayer RPGs are so uncommon. Unless they're designed with MP in mind, it just comes across as an afterthought, and it usually is.

It just is not balanced for that kind of gameplay. It'd require entirely retooling the combat system... so no, no thank you.

ill be honest, i wouldnt want multiplayer in the game. its an rpg that focuses on the players progression which is what it is good at. i wouldnt mind if they came out with a game like starwars battlefront at a later date that is based off of mass effect 1 & 2 where you take the roll of normal troops or geth or collectors and every once in a while one of the enemies you face is a biotic.



but with that said me 1, 2 &3 should all be single player only to focus 100% on the storyline.

Yes, this is a lot like Modern Warfare but I really think it would work

If ME ever did get multiplayer it would probably be just as horrid as when Metroid Prime 2 got multiplayer.

Negative, sir. I'd just let them focus on the single-player, as they've done all these years, to make it perfect and deliver an outstanding job. Plus, the multiplayer part wouldn't really be related in any way to the Mass Effect story, unless someone played with a Collector's-team / Geth-team or something and that just sounds pretty messy.

this is the problem that bioshock 2 is going to have. it never should have had mp added to it. plus fable 2 co-op was terrible. so no mp or co-op for the trilogy, it just would not fit the gameplay at all. i play ME for the story which would be lost if you have someone talking in your ear while you are trying to decide what you want to say. plus in combat it would be really boring to have to sit and wait while your partners are trying to figure out what biotic/tech powers they want to open up with. so no, please no, hell no and god please dont like them do a bioshock 2 on us with mass effect 3!
