If they are taking 'inspiration' from ME3's war council. Then I expect maybe a  description of events and + 100 to inquisition reputation..

Just +100? Damn, they're better than most Armies!

If they do, I do hope they do not return governed by a number rating, Hawke is 15 while the warden is 25. Such a cheap system.

I'm perfectly fine with them having a role, but I'd much rather they don't appear in person. They'd have to be helmeted, and the Warden would have to suddenly learn how to talk.

Which wouldn't be horrible, but complications could be avoided if they were just kept off-screen. Like, have Leliana tell you "You just missed the Hero of Ferelden." and imply that they're doing stuff elsewhere.

At least, that's how I'd prefer it.

I'd prefer it like that too.  I definitely want them brought up in some way seeing as they opened the door to something happening with them at the end of DA2, but if they appeared and they weren't like I envisioned them from my own game it would be a frustrating and unenjoyable.  Sure I would love a scene with my Hawke and Warden, but that's something that'd probably be too hard to replicate for each individual person, especially the Warden.  So in the end it'd probably be better to have some off screen "appearances".

I'm just hoping they aren't just dead and we find their disfigured bodies or something lol.
