since you have to 'earn' the specialisations, i beleive it will be from your companions as there are 3 specs per class, and 3 companions per class, makes sense doesnt it?
They confirmed you don't get them from companions.

I wonder if that means a specialization us mandatory. Because they weren't in either of the first two games.They said your companions and Advisers will mention your specialization quite frequently.

I think they've stated befor that you can go through the game without ever having a spec

Yes, they did in the Q&A from Raptr.
I truly dislike you
Indeed - I am still dissapointed by this, too
(I absolutely loved having more specialisations
)

ps: If there's cheats for this I will use the specialisation one -.- (did that in DA:O, too - I mean, sorry, there's tons of bad guy mages that do everything from elemental stuff to blood-magic and we are stuck only doing one thing? - we are supposed to be the talent, the hero, not another mook who needs his party to amount to anything ![]()
lmao that i did
well could be from npcs then who knows
So really hoping the spirit warrior specialization makes a return, it was my favorite specialization in awakening and I was dissapointed with how badly berserker and reaver played in DA 2 so they need to fix that...well the entire system for the warrior felt weaker in 2, I hope it was overhalled. I haven't been watching all the gameplay videos I don't want to spoil too much for myself.
i actually thought Reaver was better in dragonage 2 than it was in origins. i think templars were better in origins than in 2. i think warriors in general got better for dragonage 2, its mages that got weaker in dragonage 2.

mages got weaker to balance them out, they were severly OP in origins, as soon u get the large AOE primal spells its game over for most things that move

And why does a single player game need to be balanced? - Sorry, but even the LORE does support mages being very very strong and destructive!

I would like shapeshifter for mages to come back but maybe withe some new forms (Edited) because you also get to feel what its like to be and to attack youre enameys as that creature which i liked and it was one of the reasons i chose mage class.

because it makes to appealing to just play a mage every time, i imagine bioware wants all classes to be appealing to play and on the level of power
I just hope they describe what some more of them are as they have them all listed on the webpage but only 1 for each of the classes
