I just want to sit back and listen to podcast/music or drink and just have fun while using a TGI with a harrier X, or a Batarian Soldier with a reegar and granade cap V with incendiary rounds, or the best of the best paladin with geth scanner and a Talon with armor piercing rounds IV.

I feel bad playing these kits almost like I am cheating, probably because everyone leaves after the game and I always wonder if me killing everything had anything to do with it. I hardley ever run into a BSNer in gold games, or I don't notice them, or they leave once they join.

 

So I ask would you judge me if you got into a room with me and I was cheesing it up?

Depends on the playstyle too. I wouldn't leave but I would just not think it's a very good player.

But I'd totally judge BSNers for playing cheesy kits if I wasn't. Assuming I ever ran into any. Which I don't.

Never,judging someone by what they run in THEIR game is just silly, would you judge me for running all 6 kits just cause I can?

Personally, I judge those who judge.

 

I mean, who cares if there's a player using AIU Reegar X with Incendiary IV on Gold/Plat or even Bronze/Silver, or if there's a GI using Harrier X. So what. All it does is just making things easier for me to get credits for that game, so all those players can kill everything in the map while I just chillin for all I care. It doesn't affect rewards whatsoever.

 

I always find it silly that people in general are viewed unfavorably when using such set-ups. So what. It's a judgment mainly raised due to strong feeling of elitism, nothing more than that. "Oh look at that guy, using AIU Reegar X Incendiary IV, pffft cheese, he must be a try-hard" is such a silly, silly thing to think.

the answer is an easy no because 

 

a. I do not wish to stoop to the same depths of depravity where people like sinful force reside

 

b. I love my talon, arc pistol, wraith, BW, crusader, etc. and actually enjoy playing most of the infiltrators because these things are fun for me and I'm really nice and you shouldn't be mean to me  

 

The only kit-related thing that annoys me in this game that I can think of are cain mine spammers but those are quite rarely seen from my pugging experiences and it's not something I waste my energy complaining about

If someone jumps into my lobby with a try hard kit and plays aggressively to outscore me then yes, I have all right to judge them. Otherwise I don't care. If you don't feel confident while pugging and feel that you need some cheese, why not. When I meet pugs who can hold their ground I happy to play whatever I want and relax.

I play this game for fun. IDNGAS if some BSN person thinks I'm a peon for using a TGI Harrier. Sounds like a personal problem: for them. I'm a very happy scrub. What's going to happen at worst? They kick me? Boo hoo I'll find another game. They leave my lobby? Let me cry a river because some individual is too BSN famous to play in the same game as me. Or they might come on here and complain about how I use all of my missiles during extraction. I'm not afraid. I love my OP kits if you hate the Turin soldier, Salarian Infiltrator, and Human vanilla Adept or TGI don't play with me. The world's smallest violin will be playing.

How should someone playing an AIU (or any other kit for that matter) with a Reeger play if not aggressively? Playing aggressively should have nothing to do with it, they do it naturally and it likely isn't to personally outscore you.

 

The only thing I find a bit lolworthy is if seeing you they change into such a kit from a different kit that was fully equipped. And also spamming missiles on wave 11. It doesn't really worry me but I cant help but judge them that they care about the scoreboard a bit much.

 

edit I also judge people for scorewhoring during an objective.

I'd happily join them in that case. It's not like I use missiles for anything that's not targets or swarmers so I always end golds with plenty

So how you define "playing aggressively to outscore you"? So if one of those "try-hard" kits join your game you would like them more if they, I don't know, "play passively"? How even one can "play passively" or "play more passively?" Why is "playing aggressively" is viewed as something stupid in a game where the objectives is to kill all enemies as efficiently as possible and the rewards given to players are all the same? So that shotgun-wielding AIU should what? Not rush towards the enemies and shoot them?

 

I see you mention score. So I apologize beforehand for saying this, but in my honest opinion? That bolded part above sounds to me that you have become what you dread others from becoming: a genuine "try hard" yourself.

 

(of course missile spammers are always bad, but then I hope no one in their right mind would equate missile spamming with proper, aggressive plays)

Your playstyle has nothing to do with the kit you choose. I can play a Talon GI and sit in the back, leaving spawns to my friends and just cleaning up the strays.

And you notice the ones who play more and more aggressively to outscore you. As you said, most of them stay for another game and switch to more cheese. Which doesn't mean the didn't have cheese at first.
