Would you judge people on this form if you bumped into them in a pug and they were using OP stuff?

What does OP mean in this context?

I usually play what I feel comfortable with and matches my play style. Judging someone else's play style (in any game) is just... pointless. It's a game and if you're not having fun playing the way you want w/o being an arse to other people - what does it matter?

I didn't realize I was only supposed to choose certain characters

TGI Sniper is one of my favorite kits and I'm not going to stop using it because I post on BSN!

The only in-game thing that bothers me is players not helping with objectives.

I don't care about what character you run, which weapon, what load-out , N7 ranking, challenge points or anything else as long as you pull your weight and help the team.  :police:

Speaking which, I just tried for the 1st time Reegar + Incindeary + AIU. It *seems* Raider is a farrr superior weapon from what I am seeing.... I felt really underwhelmed for a kit many consider OP...

I'm glad it's not just me that thinks this...

Don't get me wrong, it's good but there are better weapons choices on the AIU and yet every AIU I run into in a PuG uses the Reegar :|

Of course I would judge you, I would think: here's someone with a good setup. And after the game I would judge you again as in: did you help, how well did you do?

Because I usually pug Platinum and don't host, I want to see at least one person with a good loadout. If one person is a TGI Harrier or AIU or GI or Flamer, etc with good amps and such, so much the better. They don't all need to have BotB banners and X UR's (or I'd never play).

I could care less.

Everyone likes to play something totally OP now and again.

The difference is whether that is all they play or just like to mix things up.

There is also the small detail that certain players can make kits seem OP too.  But these guys can roll out with no gear and a Shuriken and still do well.

tl/dr : Play whatever the hell you want.

Run level 4 kits on Bronze.  It's quite hilarious.

Glitches are annoying. I've gotten tired of carrying or wiping at +W8 due to poor teammates, so I care enough now. To be somewhat specific: If it's an N7 16 with a Crusader 1 on a GE with one attachment and no gear (or worse has a SMG amp on) then I'll move on. If it's an N7 120 with a lvl 20 character and a mattock with gear (that makes sense) and attachments, then that's ok. Basically I have low standards, but they are standards.

My enjoyment of the game is not measured by how well someone else scores.

If it was fun great lets play again if they destroyed everything with a Reegar and I couldn't do anything about then it's time to call it a night.

I don't play a lot now and it usually includes friends who are better than me, so it's very rare that I get annoyed by someone else dominating the board.

Fun is the only factor that bothers me and I can have fun and be last on the board.

Generally I don't care. Bring your try hard kits I don't give a damn. People who play with me can tell you I get happy or upset based on my own performance more than someone else's. If I'm topping the board and playing like **** I'm pissed, if I'm bottom boarding like a boss but using something just stupid, I'm happy.

The only thing that annoys me is if someone plays the same thing over and over. I need change.

It just depends on who it is and what they've said on the forums. But mostly no because who gives a crap now.

I don't care what kits or weapons anybody else uses in this game.  I barely even notice if there are other players half the time!

However, as has been noted by others, if I see a Krogan carrying something inappropriate I will point and laugh at the hopeless pyjak.

People actually pay attention to the scoring system in this co-op game?  Really?!?

No, because i've seen even the bsn hipsters using op setups all the time.  Don't pretend that because you're not using a GI, TGI, GT or AIU you're not using something OP on gold.

I'll judge people when they talk smack about OP builds on the forums and then every time I run into them in pugs they are Destroyer + particle rifle, krogan soldier + reeger and slayer + (insert weapon here, you could put on a shuriken and still have phase disrupter).

tryhard >>> hypocrite

No, why in the world would I? I didn't even know some people consider using OP kits super lame before I started to read this forum. I didn't even know there were kits and weapons considered OP in the first place! (and btw. I feel this word is being a bit overused here at the BSN.)

So, if anybody feels like playing an OP kit, they should do it, because why the hell not.

If a BSNer gets outscored by a PuG, the kit used by the PuG is OP.

And it matters because: while everyone here acts as if score doesn't matter, deep down they care about score. And everyone here cares about topping the scorecharts, and some like to brag about it. This is in jeopardy when a TGI harrier or a reegar AIU lands in a lobby, and you can't wave your e-peen on BSN. That is the main problem.

P.S. I was not being entirely serious in the post. I was being partly sarcastic, which apparently didn't come out as well as I'd like.

Judge? No.

Stick around for another match? Probably not.

Then again, I hardly ever stay for a second, or third, match with the same group anyway.
