Would you judge people on this form if you bumped into them in a pug and they were using OP stuff?

Good point. I find myself scanning along the list of characters and weapons going, 'oh, grenades, oh, infiltrator, oh flamer, oh duricane, oh, acolyte, oh, Talon' etc etc

I don't care if some uses OP Kits and Stuff.

As long as the Person dont get over confident (and kills the Whole Team) and does the objectives i like to have someone on the Team that can down Bosses and Stuff fast.

Just my opinion.

Again, I'll ask which kits does BSN consider not to be OP?

I once tried to make a list of characters, and cross them off when if I saw someone call them Op. Gave up when I was down to about 3 kits (can't remember which, vorcha hunter and a couple of others).

In fairness to BSN, if I had ignored the opinions of 2 or 3 particular individuals, it would be a much longer list.

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm talking god-tier setups here; TGI+Harrier, Trooper+Acolyte, AIU+Reegar etc.

And my issue isn't with people using them, it's with people that won't use anything else but them. They always tend to be douchebags.

IMO, it depends on the player.

TGI-Harrier, Flamer trooper, snap freezing paladin, reegar-anything are OP even in the hands of a relatively new player.

At the same time, kits like GI, fury, slayer, QME, QMI, AV, DV etc are pretty OP in the hands of a good player. In fact, they don't even need good weapons, and can outperform a mediocre player using TGI harrier, flamer trooper, reegar AIU etc. Same logic applies to weapons too - talon, arc pistol, black widow are pretty OP (even game breaking) in the hands of a game player.

A good player using a slayer/fury/QME/QMI/GI etc is as OP as a tgi harrier/reegar AIU/flamer trooper. (Bear in mind that most of the people on BSN are good players.) Speaking hypothetically, if I were to judge people using the latter set of characters (weapons), then I am also gonna judge those who use the former set of characters.

Talon merc with no Cain mines and a Shuriken.

Volus Adept specced out of shield boost with a tiny little Scimitar.

Someone will still complain that they make the game easy mode, though.

I mean any kit can be gimped if you skip certain weapons or powers. All kits are pretty damn good from different perspectives and can be considered OP. IE the Bat Sentinel not really a power player in damage output with powers because of weak tech bursts but he's a tank and can be a good DPS platform with the Harrier and Bat Passives. He's not a GI but he is tankier and can throw down. Volus are damn near unkillable on host and have great debuffs that make up for their lack luster weapons damage. Then you have kits with Nades, Cloak, Biotics, Tech, so on, etc. Everything is overpowered if the player is good with that kit.

Oh yeah and Mark. Arrows are pretty badass on the Merc, I think I could probably get Plat on a solo with that but the shuriken? Yeah no thanks.
