Spiders.
Gaider seems to imply it will be worse than ever before: http://dgaider.tumbl...ition-i-need-to
Not a fan, personally.

These have nothing on a Broodmother, but they might please you:

This slightly reminds me for a model of the Alien from Aliens that I saw once:

They really aren't scary...
Anyway, only having a scary design isn't enough if the enemy ai is a piece of cake.

BioWare has yet to confirm if they'll be bringing back the Alistair and Zevran models from DA2.

The scariest, most grotesque creatures of them all.

Dunno. I'll surprised if they get my Mother-in-law in the game though.

No more spiders. Whyyyy? Gah. At least in DA:O I could zoom out as far as humanly possible and spam my flame spells to destroy whatever was on the field.

From Chris Priestly:
As an arachnophobe there is something about the eyes, legs & palps that always gives me the jibblies when we put giant spiders in our games.
And this game, there is something even worse.

Lets wait for more info about the character creator.

Nothing more scary than the inquisitor him/her self...or how creative people can get with it...

Because we haven't seen enough giant spiders up until this point.

Slightly terrified enough to maybe not want to order this game...

I'm almost certain that the creature that is supposed to be more frightening than an over sized spider is a giant millipede.

I don't get this. Some first person games can be scary, but in DA:O you see the action from an aerial and detached observer's perspective. Just zoom further out.

Of course it is different for everyone what one finds scary.

I wonder how the Abominations will look in DAI, with much more realistic twisted flesh.

I wonder if they'll have more variety than the one model they've been using. Or maybe they'll get a new look entirely?

Who cares if enemies are scary. They are enemies, they will die.
Can I have them as pets?
I still remember One of Many fondly.

Wasn't really an option, for Xbox Players. Aside from that, what made the spiders creepy was how they would appear out of nowhere, more than anything else.

I demand a giant Shelob-sized spider as a mount to ride around on.
