The first thing come into my mind are necromorphs...
Will we see any scary grotesque creatures?

That tree-looking creature in the extended demo at Redcliffe Castle was decidedly not scary, but I have high hopes for creepiness if we get a Fade level. Honestly, though, baddies aside I'd really dig a creepy level - like Duskwood in World of Warcraft. The enemies could be totally nondescript and "normal", but the ambiance alone would creep me out.

One doesn't need to resort to insects to creep out people. In fact, the best kind of horror is the kind that uses peoples' minds imaginations against them, since only you know what scares you.
A good example of something that, while on it's own is not scary, is made terrifying by peoples' innate fear of the what they can't see would have to be the Weeping Angels of the Doctor Who series:
I think that BioWare could use something like this, especially with all of those Fear Demons running around, and various statues being exposed to Fade Rifts.
