Not intending to ever shoot the VS, so thanks for the pics.

So much hate for a fictional character, my goodness.
strong dislike. I reserve hate for those who truly deserve it.

Anyway, I like how a thread about Ken and Gabby became an Ashley hate thread

When did this go from being about Ken and Gabby to Ashley?
Anyway:
I wonder how many lines Gabby and Ken have. I just finished another mission (4th after bringing Ash back to the ship after the Citadel coup, and I have her in good terms) and they are both quiet. I don't remember them being quiet for this long when I had their romance.
I haven't played ME3 in some while, but afaik there is a rather lengthy time between the coup (or right before the coup), until end of Rannoch-arc where they don't talk that much. It may have to do with sidemissions, though.
For me, they always started talking again when I had Tali back on board.

Ashley caused the bug, that's how.

If you want to rub it in with Ashley, wear Cerberus armor during the coup

I'm not sure what to make of this "too damn ghetto" description. Likely there's some expletive or several to illustrate my thoughts in there somewhere.
As for the CGI trailer, I stand by my suspicion that replacing Ashley with Kaidan in the FemShep version would have the unfortunate side effect of people believing that he was the main character.

Likely. Oh I can just picture that. "Boobs Shepard, Commander Kaidan's love interest and trusty sidekick."

those people never watched Xena?
She's a forced romance?
ya. why do they think it's impossible for a guy to speak to a girl without an "ulterior" motive? talk to her a few times, make one wrong move & you're locked into a romance. same thing with Liara, especially considering those misleading conversation indicators that say one thing but end up as another.

So much hate for a fictional character, my goodness.
It's no different than hatred for a real person to be honest.
How you feel about that level is up to you. I can't say how you feel about hatred.

Don't think I've ever gotten to stage of hate, not in real life or in a game.
But in real life there can be valid reasons for hating someone (he/she/it killed my family, raped my sister, etc, etc).

I see it like Church from Red vs. Blue.
"It's not about hating the guy on the other side because someone told you to. I mean, you should hate someone because they're an ******* or a pervert or snob or they're lazy or an idiot or a know-it-all. Those are reasons to dislike somebody. You don't hate a person because someone told you to. You have to learn to despise people on a personal level. Not because they're red or because they're blue but because ya know them and you see them every single day. And you can't stand them because they're a complete and total ****** douchebag."
You get the general point of what he's saying. That's how I feel about characters I hate in fiction, and people I know in reality.
I'm the guy that was cursed with high intellect and low tolerance for stupidity and foolishness. Granted, I'm more crafty and clever in how I handle it, but I'm sociopathic enough to think that a campaign by the intellectual against the unintellectual would be a favor to the universe.

It's considerably rare for me to hate a fictional character. The last fictional characters I've ever truly despised were Rachel and Robbie in War of the Worlds, a case study in how annoying children can ruin everything. I swear, I wanted the aliens to win because of them.

Oh **** **** **** (I say the same word three times and the middle one doesn't get censored? What's with that? Censored it myself because I totally want a warning.)
I remember them. Robbie wants to go watch stuff get blown up, and Rachel is just a loud screaming bundle of a load. Though as I understand it, the message conveyed was that Spielberg wanted to portray how minors might react to a catastrophic event, and how parental love keeps from abandoning them (until Ray has to choose between Robbie and Rachel).

Yeah, I gathered that as I watched it, but I just couldn't bring myself to care.
