So I was just roaming around, and I know DAI is having a complete new composer who's scoring the game and so far everything sounds awesome on the orchestral scale. However, I do hope that we still get some of the awesome vocal tracks that made Dragon Age memorable for me at least, I know it's not Inon Zur anymore but still, I loved how the vocal tracks were sung in the languages from the franchise itself.

For example, I'm pretty sure the songs sung by Leliana are all in Dalish, and there's a track in DA2 called Mage Pride, which is apparently sung in Tevene, the language of Tevinter.

*funfact, this is also the backing track to Fenris' theme, how ironic*

What do you guys think? Would you guys like some more vocal tracks or just plain orchestral instrumental more your thing?

Considering how much time and effort it took to do the vocals in the languages of the previous game, I too hope they put that same effort into this one.

I came here thinking you meant vocal as in this:

Dragon Age: Origins did some of this:

I'd like to see more music like this in Inquisition.

Actual lyrics? I don't mind but I guess it depends on the situation.

Dragon's Dogma had lyrics for some exploration songs and it worked really well:

The track above played as night begun.

The question is: What style will the composer go for? If it's just some Hans Zimmer-clone OST vocals won't be particular prominent in this one. Sadly this seems to be the most prominent style in videogame soundtracks when they are full orchestrated. Nothing subtle...

P.S.: I still don't get why they chose someone else over the person that made this:

P.P.S.: Then again, the DA2 soundtrack was plagued by the recycle-thing too, so perhaps it is for the better. But it is sad to see that the first Dragon Age-game that features a soundtrack with a live orchestra is the one without Inon Zur...
