I just got these two books in the mail, which should I read first or does it matter?
Asunder or the Calling

The Calling comes first.
I think Asunder is the better book, and it seems more likely to be directly relevant to the events of Inquisition, but The Calling is set earlier and probably should be read first if you intend to read both.

If you havent read The Stolen Throne, I suggest you read that before you read the Calling.

This. The Calling has many of the same characters so I'd group the two together and read Stolen Throne first. Other than that, the order doesn't matter much.

This.
While I suppose you could get by without reading The Stolen Throne, The Calling has a lot of references to it throughout, so it would be best to leave it until you have read that one, If you have read The Stolen Throne, then go for the Calling first.
Asunder doesn't need you to have read The Stolen Throne or The Calling, and is the best of David Gaider's Dragon Age books IMO.
