While answering another post, I began pondering the houses of ill repute that we've previously visited. I hope that should we get another brothel in Inquisition, that it will rise to the occasion far better than The Blooming Rose (which I felt was a letdown, after The Pearl).

I highly doubt there'd be a whorehouse. Well at least the kind of whorehouse that actually looks like a whorehouse.
It's most likely just going to be your typical bar.
I don't think you should expect anything incredible in terms of whorehouses in DA:I or any DA game in general. It will just have you wasting coin and a blackout scene with nothing really happening.
If you want a RPG game that treats you like an adult when it comes to things like sex and prostitution, Witcher is the way to go. In the Wild Hunt E3 demo, they showed parts of Novigard and they had an entire district dedicated to brothels.
It will likely avoid nudity because jugs are so offensive compared to decapitations and impalings.

Typical North American mentality on sex. 
Because if you really think about it, prostitution is just a form of business. Exchange of money in return for sex. As long as the sex worker / prostitute is there willingly, it should be perfectly fine.
But for some reason, that is bad and should be censored.
However performing assassinations or murder in exchange for money, which happens quite often in DA, is okay and is not censored at all.
Talk about mental gymnastics.

I don't know about that. I think the Pearl fro DA: Origins qualifies as an actual "whorehouse." Sure, there aren't any graphic scenes that play out, but you are given the option to have sex with a mishmash of people. The madam even lines the npcs up for your convenience 
The brothel in DA 2 was rather a disappointment. Gone was the hilarious "surprise me feature" which I couldn't get enough of in Origins. I want my husky dwarf and extraction tool, damned it

Meh. I'm kind of indifferent about including nudity and full on sex scenes in game. If I wanted to look at porn, there is no shortage of it on the internet. I like the way Dragon Age treats the whole thing with a sense of humor.
That being said, I do think it's kind of ridiculous that we Americans treat sex like it's more offensive and taboo than murder ... God forbid you see someone's nipple, you might go blind!
Chalk that up to America still clinging to its puritanical roots. Europe had its Enlightenment. We, unfortunately, are still waiting for ours.
I seem to be the only one at odds here, I tended to like the Blooming rose over the pearl here, and if you frequented the Rose A LOT the dialogue with the matron changed; so Pearl you had static dialog, the dialog is always the same. To the dialoge changes to your number of encounters(A slight word play XD: I'll even let you roll for initiative XD)
Heck if you frequent the Rose enough the matron would even reconise that, stating that you were their best costumer, the Pearl that is not happening, it will be the the same always (static response)
So tl:dr I prefer more in depth approach to the brothel houses.

The Pearl qualifies as a whorehouse. It just doesn't look like a whorehouse. I don't know, maybe I've been spending too much time on Witcher 2
Too much nudity lol, or I guess "gratuitous" nudity. It seems like everytime nudity comes up anywhere, there's always the word "gratuitous" behind it for some reason. 
I only went there to do that Guard Captain's quest in Origins. I thought it was a bar until I talked to the lady.

In LadyInsanity's interview with David Gaider, he mentioned that there will be pubs which you can frequent and grab a pint with your companions.

Witcher just throws in a few sex scenes for the sake of it.
GTA gives reason to **** a ****** as it restores your health at the very least.
But yes, at least The Witcher 2's brothel was realistic and looked like one. The brothels in Dragon Age looked like regular bars and had the scenes as comical relief.
Personally I don't care what game does them best as I never use them anyway.

There were whorehouses in the prior DA games so it makes sense that they will return. Brothels also existed in Baldur's Gate and NWN. Hell you had strip clubs in Mass Effect so why wouldn't they return in Inquisition?
I wish we could have a game without a brothel.
That would be acceptable.
Every dark fantasy game needs a brothel or a red light district though. It's, like...a staple of the genre.

Typical Northern American here; might be better off without it. Disliked both Zevran and Isabela in the previous games, and disliked the so-called humor included in the scenes.
Prefer Romance to be romantic; not something that should apparently could use a cold shower.
I second this. And I'm European, for the Record. Aversion to needless Inclusion of Sex Scenes is not just an american Thing.
I can also go without a Brothel in the Game. Never used any Option there and avoided these Places like the Plague in the previous Games. Pubs are okay, though.

I would argue that the Witcher does the exact *opposite* of treating you like an adult with its sex content, but that's a debate for another place.
I never used the Pearl or rose, so it wouldn't bother me if there isn't one in the game.
