Cassandra: Did you sleep with the Inquisitor?
Iron Bull: You better believe it. We broke the bed and then we broke through the floor.
Cassandra: Thank you for your honesty. (set.RelationshipStatus: 5[ended])
Varric: Maker, that's what that was? I thought the troops got drunk and started butchering the livestock again.

Ugh jealous dialogue. I'd rather PC just get dumped if he/she is fooling around with more than one LI.

I guess that would depend on the personality. Some people don't break up with cheaters. I don't get it but it's true.

True. I hope at least some of the LIs drop the PC like a hot potato.

I would love for jealous dialogue, I felt so satisfied my first playthrough of DA2 when i rebounded onto Anders becuase Fenris left me *andmindyouididn'tknowifyoukeptfaithfulhewouldreturn* but i loved the dialogue how anders was all
Anders: How swell that Hawke finally got to his senses and chose the right choice. How could you leave him.
Fenris: Leaving was the hardest thing I could've ever done, and if you break his heart, I'll break yours.
And i'm just like LFKHDASFJHAKL WHY COULDN'T I KEEP FENRIS
but anywho, i hope something like this occurs if you romanced two party members, I love party members getting feisty. Though they did mention that relationships can fail anyhow in mid arc, so maybe that'll come into play somehow.

I have to agree with this.
I am bias about it though. I absolutely loathe jealousy and don't want to deal with it at all. IRL or in-game.

Yes, I want all the boys to fight over me and stroke my ego for I am Inquisitor Mary Sue and my beauty shall not be denied, also I should be able to turn Dorian straight and make all the boys jealous because I am just that damn good.

I don't necessarily want jealous dialogue like Morrigan and Leliana. If I sleep with both, I fully expect to get dumped by one, if not both of them.
However, I...I don't want to say "liked", but I found it to be a nice touch to Anders personality that he had a crush on my f!Hawke. I romanced Fenris, and remained faithful to him throughout the entire game, but that didn't stop me from flirting with Anders in Act 1. His jealous dialogue was different, because he simply had a crush on Hawke. This, to me, added an air of realism. I couldn't help Anders feelings for me. And it was interesting that he said things, and "acted", on that jealousy.
I hope that makes sense, that I'm not the only one that sees a slight difference.

I think some LIs should dump Quizzy if he cheats on them, but I think others should be more lenient. It would depend on whether the LI had intended on having a monogamous relationship. Iron Bull would probably be cool with it (at first), but I imagine Cass wouldn't stand for it.
IIRC, when I was romancing both Zevran and Morrigan, he basically said, "Look, I'm totally down with you f***ing the both of us, but Morrigan will probably want you all to herself, so you're gonna have to choose."

I would like to see some conversations where one companion warns another not to hurt the Inquisitor, in a big brother/sister sort of way. I liked when Alistair was protective of the PC and asked Zevran his intentions toward her.

Yeah, that was very unfair to us Jacob fans.
We exist and we're people too. Jacob promised stability and then they had to pull the stereotypical baby mama.

I really hope Josephine's jealousy conversations are borderline crazy like "if I can't have you no one can!! *stabs Inquisitor in the eye with a quill* "
ok maybe not that crazy, but maybe a little bit of stalking or maybe the Inquisitor wakes up one night tied to a chair and Josephine start to interrogate him about his relationship with (insert other LI name here)... i think i may have some sort of weird fetish ![]()

I don't mind jealous dialogue, but I haaate the Morrigan/Leliana cat fights.
I've never understood why when two girls find out they're dating the same guy, they hate eachother instead of him, and I hate to see that mindset propagated in media. If you're stringing along two women, they should be mad at YOU, cuz YOU'RE the jerk. :/
On that note, I'd LOVE that if you are trying to romance two people, if they find out, they both dump you, hahah.

As a serious question, I want to ask: Why would you want a character(s) to fight over you or make jealous comments? Know that I am not judging at all. I am genuinely curious.
I will judge you... but only a little.
It shows a side of the character you might not always see. I adore Leliana and her romance, but I've never seen her act catty and insecure. Her arguments with Morrigan (and I think Zevran?) provide me with an insight on who she is that I don't really get any other way.
And it's an ego thing. I can totally see the appeal of two beautiful women competing for you. Interestingly enough, this is one of the few times the focus is on the PC. In the majority of conversations, it's all about the companions. It's amazing how few banters or dialogues seem to acknowledge your existence.

This is one of the upsides of a voiced protagonist. The problem with including the PC in a lot of banter is that an unvoiced one simply cannot chime in at all. I enjoyed how in DA2, Varric and Isabela can talk about daggers in a very suggestive way, and Hawke will suddenly ask "What are you talking about?", or will say "Isabela!" if she says something suggestive to Bethany, and in MotA, Varric will actually talk to Hawke directly.
As a serious question, I want to ask: Why would you want a character(s) to fight over you or make jealous comments? Know that I am not judging at all. I am genuinely curious.
I find that the more reactive a companion character is to the things you do, the better. If they say nothing, despite following you around in the company of the companion you've decided to cheat with, they kind of come off as a bit flat.

I STILL cant believe Bioware decided that the only LI who cheats is the black guy who gets another chick preggers while your shepard is in lock up for a couple months.

I'm not a big fan of them. I can understand voicing your dissapointment (especially if the protagonist flirts heavily with everyone) but at some point it's creepy. When I told Leliana early on I just saw her as a friend she was totes cool with it (albeit a bit sad but still good). In DA2 it was anger mode everywhere. I don't like the idea that my companion is so hung up on me when I'm not romantically interested in them.

Does protective jealousy count as jealous banter? Cause I would love jealous banter along the lines of DAO where Alistair was jealous of my Warden spending so much time with Morrigan and Morrigan calling him out on acting like a child whose toy was stolen. Just felt like Alistair was trying to look out for my male Warden and I really liked that. So yes I want jealous banter if its that kind of jealousy.
