Native speaker of American English. Also speak Japanese at both home and work. Still remember some Arabic (mostly hookah flavors). I'm fluent in reading menus in French, Spanish and Italian, and can get by fairly well with menus in Arabic, Turkish and Greek (never ask for the English menu unless you like paying more!)

Awesome. I do know one sentence in Finnish. Does BSN's auto-censor pick up Finnish swearing?

That's pretty cool, a lot of Europeans here. Nice to see BSN is quite multilingual.

You're gay? I didn't know. Congrats for coming out of the closet, bro. ![]()

At this point I'd almost hazard to say English is my first -- I almost speak it more frequently then my native, where I even developed an 'Murican as well as English accent depending on my circumstances. So anyway, I generally speak English, Danish and a bit of German, due to working in Germany aber mein Deustch ist nicht so gut, so I need to prep up my skills on that even though I'm not very good at it. I also speak a tiny bit Spanish from High School, and a few French words after my vacation in Paris a while back. Parlez-vous français?

I only really speak English, and that was hard enough for me to learn when I was younger, due to an at least slight speech impediment then.
However, I'm fairly regularly exposed to Canadian-French and Lebanese-Arabic.
French, due to my location and social groups (Ottawa and trips to Montreal) and boyfriend's language.
Arabic, because my boyfriend is Lebanese (English/French/Arabic speaker) and so I tend to hear it around my day/week.
If this continues, I do hope that I'll be at least dual language (French first, Arabic later) sometime down the line in my 20s and 30s...

As an Austrian my first language is Austrian-German, I also speak English fluently and possess a rather limited Icelandic vocabulary which allows me to build very basic sentences. But I'm planning on upgrading my Icelandic-skills for future trips to that beautiful island.
I think its rude to visit foreign countries without having any idea about the language there. (Except French, lol)

Native Finnish, and sufficiently fluent in English.
Also a smattering of French & Japanese, and a formerly passable skill in Swedish that has, due to lack of use, shrunken to almost nothing.
