I've picked up some Hymmnos lately.
English Is my native tongue. I also learned quite a bit of Sindarin (Yeah I'm that much of a nerd!
). I'm learning French and can navigate an Italian menu fairly well lol.

Old English more-or-less. I just wrote a bunch on words incoherently to ultra-troll anyone besides Me who can speak it because I'm bored.

I like old threads. Those memories.
New threads are spineless, made by rookies.
Scottish Gaelic was my first language along with English a short time later.
I also now speak some French and Japanese.

Danish as my main language of course.
And then:
English
German (a little bit, used to know it pretty fluently, not so much anymore, can still read it pretty well)
Norwegian (can understand it better than talk it)
Swedish (can understand it better than talk it)
Turkish (Fluently)
Spanish (a little bit, used to know it pretty well but not anymore sadly)

You better hold onto your soul then. Or it'll be sent where he at.
The only two languages a person should learn is English and German. English for now and German for the inevitable future.
English is defo not my first language and I am so glad y'all can't "hear" my accent when I type o.o My native language is Dutch (Well, Flemish but whatever). I can also speak French and a tiny bit of German. Although the latter is mostly understanding.
My accent is so great...
Mostly mixture of American, British and Welsh (Yo I've had too many different learning materials!). Kinda influenced by Japanese and Germans too, because of what I've watched!

Malay is my first language, English is my second. I think I have a British English accent though I've never been to England and my English cousins like to make fun of that (I'm cheap and too poor for flight tickets). I can understand some Cantonese and read some Chinese as a kid which is useful when I start to learn Japanese (but nowadays, only enough to read ingredient labels at the back of something "Made in Japan" and read manga without translation... because tankoubons in Japanese tend to be cheaper than English translations).

You develop an accent based on the people around you when you learn the language. So it would be safe to assume that you learned English from people with a British accent.
My accent is a SoCal with a little bit of a central US twang. But I made it a point to try really hard to keep my Cali accent. But when I get tired or start talking fast my Okie side comes out lol.
English is my first and only language. If there is any language I that would help me communicate with relatives, it would be Danish as my paternal grandfather immigrated from Denmark many, many years ago. My father and grandparents used to speak Danish at the dinner table when we visited, was a bit frustrating sometimes as I didn't understand. However I rarely speak to that side of the family, so it's not much of a pressing issue.
As for accents I used to have a regional North Queensland - Australian accent but since being in the south for longer I speak with a more Sydney/metropolitan accent (with heavy NQ influence). My sister who still lives in my birth town visited earlier this year and there's a noticeable difference between how we pronounce words, the rate at which we speak and how loud we talk. Compared to the NQ accent, the Sydney accent is quicker and more quietly spoken, the words are more clipped and there's less dragging out of the A's (had a friend from NZ say Aussies drag out our A's haha). Makes understanding people super fun because they sometimes talk too quickly and quietly for me to process.
