I am working on it now too. Playing with the kits helps. I am almost done with the Volus Adept waves, I finished Volus Engineer waves some time in the past and I am also playing with the Drell Assassin and the Talon Mercenary.

No real way to do it fast as so many are waves completed.  I would do all of the gun challenges though, even the tougher ones like the raptor.  You can often play a couple games with one of the guns on gold and then finish off those points fast and risk free by soloing a bronze game.

Don't be afraid of swapping characters if you don't like the one you started on. Nothing is worse than doing 200 waves with a character you hate.

 

Also do all the weapons first. 140 or 200k points with a weapon (even a terrible weapon) is far quicker than 200 waves.

Weapons are "easy". For me, one gold solo will easily give you 200,000 points on a weapon - or at least get you close. You can do it in two bronzes if you milk objective rounds, too, and it's easier to not use your other powers. If you do those with a character you need waves with, all the better. If not, QFI it. Shoot+Sabotage=Free Points.

If this was an Extractions challenge I'd say do quick-match searches and hope to get in on a late wave. That saves some time. But there's no shortcut for Waves Completed, other than speedruns with friends, I guess.

Playing with friends makes everything easier (especially since Outsider has a lot of Volus characters).

Cycling between kits helps avoid boredom. You can also load them up with fun weapons, which could either mean ones you really enjoy or ones that'll just be funny (Volus with Spitfire, anyone?)

The bottom line is to enjoy yourself, though. Let it take it's time, no worries.

All the Drell kits are fantastic, so it shouldn't be too hard to complete those challenges. Keep switching it up so you don't get bored though.

Raptor isn't *too* awful on the QFI... or you could slap it on the DAI and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

 

Volus Nutpuncher with a Talon is pretty good fun too.

I don't care for Raptor tbh. It's pretty bad IMO, and makes your fingers suffer.

 

3 Drell challenges, 2 smashbros, talon and awakened collector are the ones I usually aim for. They are pretty easy. And since DI is a very good character to use various weapons on, you can also work on some weapon challenges while playing the DI.

 

Hornet is another challenge which can be done. TSol, GI, destroyer make it shine (duh), but hornet smashguard is quite fun too.

Doing the 3 weapons no matter how terribad they are, is still shorter than doing 200 waves. Do all the weapons, then play the kits you enjoy/are closest to completing.

Drell Assassin, Volus Engi, Drell Adept, Awakened Collector, Phoenix Adept are the easiest IMO.. you can add Drellguard to that if you host.

Its also worth stating that the Hornet and Raptor are the most painful 200k weapon challenges in the game.. I usually go GI.. ditto for when I do the Disciple 200k.

I ain't gonna lie: Raptor and Mattock get pretty good when you have a turbo button.

Edit: Also, what FullSpeed said. Also-also, doing the weapons helps with the weapons challenges, but you don't need me to tell you that.

For the 200 wave thing you can play on Bronze if you really want it fast...

I used destroyer to get raptor challenge completed. Took 3 gold pugs. If I will use it now, I will surely not exercise my finger but rather use a clicking macro.

Why not try to combine sub challenges, as by - for example - using the Hornet on the Phoenix while doing the waves.

I would personally do all the weapon challenges, DI, DA, PA, Procollector, Talon Merc, I would only do either the pheonix vanguard or the drellguard if I host (which is rare unless I'm soloing).
