Solas at the moment. I like the potential of his whole hedge mage background. Although if Viv is just too fierce and fabulous to ignore I'll switch when needed.

Most if not all of my playthroughs will be as a mage and I only like having one mage in the party.

 

But if I ever play a warrior or rogue Dorian will be my first pick.

Based on the little I have experienced in the games; not a huge fan of Tevinter or Orlais as a rule. While there may be notable exceptions, I think I shall be giving the self-taught Mage first dibs.

I've always liked having two mages in my party so for right now Viv and Dorian for my rogue and warrior. 

 

Depending on who best compliments my mages abilities I will most likely kick one of them to the curb, though for at least one mission I want a four mage party, four warrior parties in Origins were fun, and really the only time I used Sten and Oghren in the same playthrough

I tend to stick with a male harem so no Vivienne for me. If Solas is bangable I'll probably bring him, if not, I'll bring Dorian and his unfortunate choice in facial hair.

Will be changing my party up and switching them up all throughout the game. I plan on having the person i romance in the party almost all the time though. 

 

Dorian and Viv. will both be in my party at the same time because banters!

Right now, both Solas and Dorian will be present in my various party makeups, for sure.

Vivienne? Eh, not currently planning to take her to much of anything right now (her personality just doesn't gel with me, for some reason).

Solas.  He seems to be the greatest potential source of lore that is untainted by the Chantry, so I want to consider every little crumb he has to offer about magic and the Fade. 

 

If I bring two mages, Dorian gets the second spot the first time through, since I would also like to know more about Tevinter.

I'll probably alternate, but my main party will be: Dorian, Sera, Iron Bull

 

The mages in DAI are my favorite characters so far though

Who winds up being my spellslinger the most depends on a couple factors:

 

1.) What kind of spell arsenal they're packing and how it complements my preferred playstyle.

 

2.) Which ones I like. I never could warm up to Morrigan, so I ran with Wynne a lot.

Im so cyling them in and out... all 3 are some of the most interesting to me. 

 

Dorian and Vivienne are slightly a head of Solas right now, but for story reasons, Solas sounds good to take on certain quests...  So i will near equally use all 3 with an edge going to.....

Difficult choice to narrow it down to one, but Dorian and Vivene will be in the party for my Mquisitors.

All of them at one point or another ! However I do find both Dorian and Solas very interesting so they might make the cut more often!
