If you PUG you will carry. It's an inevitability, that's the service. But it has nothing to do with holding the hands of newer players. I just don't want to waste my time and equipment. Oh and telling someone/trying to teach them is one thing but showing them will sink in faster. I remember as the FNG the first time I saw a GI with a Claymore box an Atlas on Gold and whoop it's ass.

 

So if you find yourself in with gearless N7  rank neagtive 45 players, just put up your 170K and stay in the lobby long enough to let them see your load out then bounce.

I understand what you're trying to say, but I don't owe anyone anything. I don't need to play OP kits to make sure someone else gets their credits faster. I'll make sure they get them, but they'll get them when I'm good and ready. I've disconnected more times in the last 6 days than I've failed missions in the past 6 months. I don't need to play OP kits to extract. If someone is going to whine about a 23 or 24 minute extraction instead of 17 or 18 minute extraction, then they need to take a good look at themselves. Besides, I don't know of anyone else who gets carried who is picky about the person doing the carrying.  It's good for them to see how all the kits are played, not just the OP ones. It does them more good in the long run.

You do realize not everyone reads every thread on the BSN and knows of Red Panda's shenanigans right? You do realize I'm allowed to respond with my opinion right? Also I'm not sure it's as much of a joke thread as you'd like to believe.  

 

 

So please, ladies and gentlemen, when PUGing play these kits only. If you really don't want to, please allow these kits to play with you and develop their own habits as they see fit and stop kicking them based on their choice of kit. 

 

That first sentence is the only one that I see as being a joke. The second makes more sense. A lot of people on the BSN are entitled and will kick people playing OP kits because it isn't as fun for them. I'm all for helping other players, but I play to have fun for myself first, and others second. My comment was meant to get that point across. It's a team game after all. If you interpreted it differently, good for you.

That seems like a great way to dissuade them to play.

 

Who wants to be in a system where you're a peasant with crap guns, crap gear, and no medigel.

BSN stop complaining about what other people play. I feel like every time I look at the forum there is a new thread about what others play and why we should all judge them for it.  It is simply ridiculous... Get over yourselves.

Folks just need to stop crying about the RNG game and start enjoying what they have. Otherwise it's a mindless grind. No good comes out of a mindless grind. And that's what Platinum pugging is all about these days. So OP says to keep supporting this madness... no.

 

And Platinum is the only place where any kit and setup goes, anyways. In fact I was hoping for some of my maxed toys like Ghost Harrier X cheese myself, but what's the use when everyone there farms or rockets non-stop. So going to start Contributing to cheesing Gold instead. Hmm, Harrier X Ghost, why, that cheese seems like a perfect start. Next I'm finally going to try that GI Harrier X cheese. Cause Gold is the new place for anything goes.

One thing I do find interesting...

 

I see reegar-A.I.hate U.'s in many many lobbies, which to me gets boring but that is beside the point. (And only personal opinion regardless)

 

As often as I see them, I never see more than one in a match. If there's already one in the lobby I've seen other one's promptly leave. I think that says something about the mentality of the kit.

The average BSNer has more delicate sensibilities than you would ever find outside a Jane Austen novel.

 

They weep themselves to sleep every night, because they know that someone out there has specced a kit with rank 5a instead of 5b in cloak. Or vice versa.

This is a cool thread - a good bit of humor.

 

Peeps get mad when I GI or Ghost with my Harrier x, but then I've had a max manifest for over a year, or thereabouts.  Its not that I'm trolling other players - there are no more enemies on my side of the map, so I came to kill yours too.  I'm 'helping'!  Really.

Help them reach salvation faster? When did ME3MP turn into a religion? I was already skipping church every Wednesday and Sunday just so I could play. I didn't realize I dropped one false religion for another. I stopped posting in the SP section because they turned into a bunch of Reformist. Can an atheist catch a break? Stop pushing your religion on us!!!

I admit it, I will take a harrier using TGI into plat just to try an get too extraction. Of course I don't pug plat without at least a one person from my FL. But if I am with at least 2 people from my FL then I am more comfortable taking other kits to the party.

I was in match the other day with two AIUs and a GI. It was interesting.

It does! For me it tastes like breaking out with my TGI Harrier XIII and APIV and still having to use all my equipment *phew*. This is why I like to bring my lazy OP kits to Platinum if I'm pugging all alone. If I have my friends with me I'll play something squishier and more fun.
