I like cracking open The Grey Company Elvish dictionary and language supplements to find Elven names. It's a staple from my old D&D days in the 90s.
Whatever default name is given them by the game. Same with humans, dwarves, qunari, anything really.
I just suck at thinking my own names. ![]()
I'll call the Gary, all of them. So its Gary elves...sorry
Are your protagonists from Vault 108?
I name my elves based on natural gemstone names or different unique color names.

Pretty names that look good written out, but sound weird when you say them aloud.
Athdralis. Kerendia. Varanur. Aelinae. Lorveth. Ryndoryl. Came up with those on the spot, why can't I ever do that when I start a new game ![]()

I've only made one elf so far, my very first Warden. Named her Celebrian, after the character in Lord of the Rings. If and when I make another elf I'll look more into the Dragon Age universe for names.
I go for earthy / nature names . One of mine from DAO was Moonbeam and i am planing a fiery elven Mage that i will call Tempest .
