How it is here you ask ? both worse and better than it have been before but it seems pretty chill at the moment.
Just a warning though: FFS keep out of the Dragon Age forums, they get butthurt very easily and will probably have your head if you say something they don't agree with especially R*****E obsessed players so keep to off topic so much you can though this side of forum is not well liked by most.

How easy are they, like say I wanted to send them into a frenzy, what would I have to say without being so obvious?

Start a thread on LGBT in the dragon age universe or say the slightest positive thing about dragon age 2. They are really easy to rile up but you can be banned for trolling so a word of warning there.

If you find a topic to talk about here, then you'll encounter some interesting people. If you don't, then this place is as dull as a vanilla flavored rice cake.
Oh, and liking Bioware games helps if you find this area tedious.

Well just call their LI for a crap character or that romance does not in fact make a game better unlike what some people seem to think, it's not as bad as before like Mass Effect forums in 2012/13 but still.
Try it, i'm sure you like to make some people angry
, you see we are horrible people when we disagree with the so called "facts" to some people.
Personally i'm more into old school type of games, that focuses mainly on gameplay and story and personally i think there's just too much crap in games nowadays just to suit everyone, screw making good games just make games that everyone can play seems to be the what 99% of all developers/publishers do now just because of making money.
Oh and what Liam said, the mods here don't f*ck around, they like the banhammer.

Well I made a thread comparing DA:I to both a generic Skyrim and a Dark Souls with smaller dragons.
Honestly this place doesn't seem as horrible as you lot make it out, it's like you're trying to be horrible but you're just too Canadian about it (Canadian stereotype of them always being friendly).
And honestly I think you're describing EA (or is that considered blasphemy in these parts?) ![]()

Blasphemy to lot of people yes, not me though and it wasn't just about EA it's still Ubisoft, Activision etc and as i said earlier it's usually nice here nowadays from what i have seen except in some threads.
I don't know much about canadians though sry lol.

The Dragon Age forum isn't that toxic. I take dips in there all the time, and so far I've only lost my left ear and grown an extra arm.

Romance obsessed? Why did you censor that? LOL
These forums aren't that toxic. I've been on and seen worst. The RPG Codex forums are worst and their mods act like crybabies who will ban you simply for disagreeing with them from what I've seen. Most of its forum posters sound like edgy teens who cuss all the time and think that by playing an Infinite Engine game, they somehow have authority to decree what an RPG is. Not to mention that many of these guys seem like they suffer from a mental illness and they really hate Bioware, Bethesda and BSN but worship Obsidian and Chris Avellone.
I remember visiting its forums a year back and again a few months ago to see one of their Inquisition threads where they're literally stalking members on this site as well as Bioware developers. Kinda hilarious and sad really. They seem to be sexually obsessed with Avellone too, yikes!
Next up is the YouTube comment section (aka racism and anti-religious utopia). I almost never scroll down to comments anymore on YouTube as there's always people moaning, being racist or debating something. It's ridiculous.
GameFaq follows but only because of its butt hurt mods who are ban-happy against anyone just for using a swear word. 4/chan is up there with RPG Codex but at least it's funny from time to time and it's produced some good memes. The Codex seems like the place where kicked out members from 4/chan go to vent their frustrations with RPG's bitterly.
Many of Reddit's forums take the cake for worst forums though.

I don't know lmao but it looked better to censor it somehow, maybe they're watching from the DA threads
.
Nah it isn't so toxic here anymore so that's good and i do not visit reddit, RPG Codex (but you did make want to go there, seems perfect for trolling the sh!t out of butthurt people) and never log into youtube.
The only forums i do visit is, The Witcher, Obsidian, Bethesda, here and on rare occasion Bnet which can be pretty toxic too.

I spend a lot of time in the DA section and people only usually get mad if people are insulting other fans ("Cullenites are stupid and only like Cullen cos he's hot lol!!!!") or just being rude. There's tons of good discussion there if you take the time to form coherent arguments and are prepared to defend your opinion respectfully.
But hey, each to their own. ![]()

Yeah, um, if you don't like BioWare games, you shouldn't even be on this site.
To no one in particular (no pun intended): If you've never played a BioWare game, just leave, for you shame and undermine us all by being here. (Go back to The Witcher forums, 'cause we don't want you here, LOL.)
