Used to write fics back in the old BSN days. Mainly set in sci-fi or post-apocalyptic setting, usually involving fellow forum friends. Stopped writing when people stopped reading and never bothered with that stuff again. I jolt down a note or two when I get any ideas, tho.

I am slowly writing my memoirs; including sections on failed careers, divorce, births, deaths, betrayal, adultery, travel, lies, hunting, fathers, sons, faith, science, drinking scotch, old men in college, cats, dogs & coffee.

I used to write a lot. But there came a point where I finally accepted the fact that I don't write well. So I no longer bother.

I tend not to write much (I've done some stuff; script and narrative, but its been years), but I like to think of myself as capable.

 

I really, really, really should test myself on it more. My ultimate career plan does involve having writing skills, after all...
