I don't know if this has been asked about before or not, but I would like to be able to take screenshots in-game on the console version of DA:I. Dragon's Dogma has this option on the PS3 I know for certain. I love it, use it a lot, and a feature like this in DA:I would save me taking terrible pics on my camera phone and a burning jealousy of PC players. Please include it if you can.

Exhibit A of awesome crystal clear image from my PS3:

That would be nice, thankfully it's a feature in all ps4 games (and videos), but yeah I hope the ps3 DA fans can do screen captures as well!

I thought someone asked about this once and they said that they didn't think the PS3 (maybe 360) wouldn't allow it, so they probably weren't doing it.  I could be wrong though

I think it was asked on twitter, then posted to the twitter thread

PS3 does have screen shot capabilities but it is completely dependent on the developer (publisher ? has to allow it maybe ?) on enabling it.  Which is why it is hit or miss.  The current gen (also consoles btw) will have it as it is build into the operating system.

Oh, I didn't know that PS4 has built in screenshot capability. I was thinking it was developer option also. I haven't checked out all the specs thoroughly because I'm not looking to buy a new console right now. Since I probably won't have a PS4 by October either, I'd appreciate if Bioware could put it in the PS3 version of the game.

Yeah, PS4 has the 'Share' button which allows you to upload in-game images to Facebook and such. Xbox One has a recording feature (up to 5 minutes of gameplay) but currently lacks the screenshot feature found on the PS4.

As an Xbox One owner myself, I would love to be able to take screenies from the console. Microsoft is supposed to include that in a future update so here's to hoping.

360 allows it (in some games at least) but requires you to be gold

Thanks for the info. I don't mix gaming with Facebook, however, so I hope I can just put screenshots straight on my hard drive instead. And that XBOX recording feature sounds really nice. Hmm. I'm going to have to think about that. I hope Microsoft delivers on the screenshot update, but if they don't before October, I hope Bioware puts this feature on the XBONE version of DA:I too.

Should just be a free feature IMO. Does XBONE charge, require you to be a Gold member for the video recording?
