Also bought ps1 about 10 minutes after buying FF7

I'm not concerned about DA:I at this point; planning to upgrade in the winter or early spring for Witcher 3 instead. Will give time for the usual holiday releases of newer hardware.

There's a 3K 33" 21:9 ultra wide inch monitor that I really want to play this game on.
If it hits any type of sale by the time this game is out, I'm picking it up.

Usually, if I have to upgrade anything for a game, it's the vid card, and I am planning to upgrade mine before DA:I. Everything else should be able to handle the game.

It all depends on the PC specs--a Digital Storm Vanquish 2 level 1 if i can't afford a laptop that can play it, and if I just flat out can't afford a computer that can play it i'll get a used PS3

Hm...
I don't know if I'd consider this an item I bought only for new games, rather then finally finishing my PC (after using a part from the old one, because I didn't want to buy something cheap and only little better/faster):
I got a new graphics-accelerator last year (Geforce GTX 770 Phantom from Gainward) and with it my PC (from 2012 - an i7 2600-K at stock (didn't try overclocking as I do not need it...everything - even BF4 - runs on maximum settings and without any problems...)) can run every game there is (BF4 on max settings on a 64 Player map? - No problem!))

Pre-ordered the Destiny PS4 purely for DA:I. Not really interested in Destiny itself, but figured if I was going to buy the next gen for one video game, might as well go all out and get the nice shiny new white one.

AMD FX9370 and a AMD MSI Gaming R9 290
and look it has a dragon on it
Good luck with the 290. Granted, I did not get one from the same company, but a couple weeks ago mine gave out after 5 months run-time or so. Going to be replaced next week, I hope.
Got a rig beginning of this year, for no game in particular really (well, The Witcher 3 maybe). Regarding DA:I, game's good enough for my tastes I'll just hope BF4 will serve as a benchmark - the couple times I ran that it was smooth sailing on highest settings.

Um, what?

1080p/60FPS. Look up Destiny as well.
And PS Plus is a hell of a lot more than online access. You get a bunch of free games every month,
