I'm thinking about picking up a GTX 780 6gig sometime after august. Not just for DAI, but also Kingdom Come Deliverance. With the way games have been looking I will probably need to upgrade from my 2gig GPU, to keep playing my games.

That wasn't available when i ordered my rig. Its been about 10 days. They have updated their components since then. I notice the 6GB Nvidia 780 video card is now available. They also have the 2TB drive with with 225GB SSD now. That's okay. My budget before tax was $2,300.00 and what I bought kept me in budget. My rig will still rock for several years. So, I'm happy.
budget gameing AMD amd all the way brother 700 to 800 dollars US bump it to right around 1200-1500 for intel rig

On the other hand, I have no issue paying 5 dollars a month for Playstation Plus that is currently providing me with 2 free PS3 games and 2 free PS4 games each month.
My point was that most people do not game on consoles because they think PC gaming is "too complicated", at least not most people I have asked. Most people who game on consoles do so because the exclusives appeal to them more than the exclusives on other platforms. In the end, gaming is a luxury hobby, and why not spend that luxury playing the games you are most exited about playing rather than the ones that will look the best?

Originally $1400, Lenovo has it on discount for 899 which is a damn good deal considering how nice it is. It's considered a budget gaming laptop, but also happens to be Lenovo's best selling laptop in general, which is impressive (and Lenovo has been rated as the best PC maker)
It's no Alienware, but everything about it as a general laptop is great (performance, sound, etc) graphics are fabulous, FPS is flawless.

It doesn't bug me, but I think that's mostly down to me being unable to see the difference unless I have one of those 30/60 FPS comparisons right in front of my face. I literally cannot tell what FPS a game runs at unless I use some kind of framecounter or I experience sudden framerate drops. I don't know why. I value a smooth, stable framerate over a high one, even if a high, stable, smooth framerate is even better. 
As for resolution, I don't find that it bothers me either, even if I can notice the difference. I sit some distance away (About 2 meters) when I game on my PS4, so the resolution isn't something I notice that often. It does happen though.
Mostly I think it comes down to personality though. When I game I tend to kinda shut down, and just get completely soaked in the gameworld. Almost trancelike. In that state of mind I tend to not think about those things at all.

Actually you shouldn't need to bother searching, a quick google search put up a lot of actual Bungie quotes that the PS4 version is locked at 30fps like the rest of the platforms. Reasons cited as being "Cross Gen compatibility standards" or some such. I guess it's possible because the code has to work across generational gaps, but I still think it's industry talk for "We aren't familiar enough with the hardware yet."

That is a older game that they scaled up for PS4 and xbox one new games comeing out like watch dogs and destiny won't run like that the systems are at there limit as is

bf4 runs at 720p but it has been upscaled to 1080p its just blown up 720p
the interview for doom 4 as i understood it was talking about pcs runing the game at 60 fps as the game is still indevolment there runing on pc we will see when doom is out if the cons run at 1080p 60 fps
