Best game I have ever played. And I have played tons of them. I hereby pledge to buy every single DLC to support Bioware. I also supported you guys by buying Steam Digital Deluxe edition, 4 copies of UK Collector's Editions (Plastic cover was a bit of a letdown though) AND 2 copies of the standard edition. Nuts? Yeah, but a game this good, I don't regret it one bit.

Umm,yea thats borderline creepy to be honest lol

Fantastic game. I have a feeling I'll be playing this one a long time. Some of the moral choices so far have had my pulling out my hair trying to decide "the right thing to do." Excellent work as usual Bioware! I eagerly anticipate Mass Effect 2. :D

Meh, I played for too long yesterday; my dreams were filled with strange images from DA. When I was waking up, I hadn't been quite sure where the hell I was. Half of my mind was in the real world and the other half was in the DA one. I did eventually come back to my senses, but it took me a while. When I finally got out of bed, I proceeded to play some more.

I am now looking forward to today's dreams. :o

I am absolutely LOVING the PC version. I keep finding things that make me like it even more as I play. I think I might check it out on either the Xbox 360 or PS3 too for a bit of a different experience albeit still in the Dragon Age world. You hit it out of the park, Bioware.

I had purchased a new computer to run Aion but abandoned it before my pre-order ever arrived. I am now thankful I did as DA:O has made up for it tenfold. Great story, excellent writing, voice acting and gameplay. As for the graphics, it's no crysis or uncharted 2 but it's damn pretty for an RPG.

This game ROCKS!!! I love the fact that I have a hard time deciding what party members to take with me they are all so well written.

Yeah just wanted to chime in that I love this game too. I'm at work now but all I can think about is getting home to pick up the story where I left off. As many others have said, the story is really engrossing and you actually feel connected to the characters. I thought I would probably try several character/story openers before I got locked into one, but I'm really attached to my Dwarf commoner from the get-go!

Great RPG. And I follow them since Baldur´s Gate. Really incredible. With the elements of a perfect RPG: story and dialogs. Of course, with massive doses of action and etc. But story will always be the best thing on a RPG, along with dialog and possibilities. And DA has it all! Really, great job.

No crashes or problems so far. The graphics are stunning. I finally think I´m playing a game that is as good looking as the trailers. A lot of cutscenes and interaction. Way to go.

The combat is tough. And I have yet to understand fully about the system.

One very bad thing, sadly: the camera movement. I loved the ability to play with a camera like Kotor, or the camera from above, like NWN. But on the "kotor style" camera, why the hell change a winner and make us have to hold a button down to them change the view??? Why not do as in Kotor, where I should just change the view while I move the mouse at the edge of the screen? I think that is the one negative point. Doesn´t ruin the fun, of course, but I wonder why every time people try to change the camera views and movements.

Nevertheless, 2 thumbs up!!!

P.S. - On Ostagar there is a little flaw. Apparently, you can "fall" from the edge, and "reappear" outside. But when you are outside, you cannot go back, and you start to walk through walls, over lakes, and below the structures. Must reload. Better check and avoid complaints from people who don´t save often.

Sorry I have to completely disagree.

1. Way, way, way, too much talking I do not need an hour of dialog to tell me I need to watch the castle.

2.1 hours of dialog just to get to 2 battles that do not even last more than 15 seconds that I killed on my own.

3. There is no need for party members or the tactics screen, there are almost no battles in the game and the battles that are in the game, do not last even no where near long enough to need a tactics screen

So in closing, Bioware should have concentrated on more battles, and at least allowing a use for party members and the tactics screen. instead we get a 1 hour dialog, 1 battle, 2 hour dialogs, 1 battle, 4 hour dialog, 1 battle...etc...

Yeah I love this game, it feels like I'm in one of my fantasy novels. Like I'm part of the story and not just the story. The cast is great.

It took a bit getting used to. I opted for the PC version after being a console gamer for thirty years so I'm still getting used to keyboard/mouse but NP! The game is in one word FANTASTIC! I've played many, many RPG's throughout the years and this one is shaping up as a likely contender to dethrone them all! I'm amazed at how it challenges me, the depth of the characters and the scope/consequence of my actions. I love Shale a remarkable character! Thanks for your passion in creating this game Bioware!

Honestly I've been waiting years for this ( as I have a few other game fable, oblivion, ect) and I don't feel let down. This is a very HUGE first for me, I love this game. I'm only 4.5 hours in because i limit myself to 2 hours a day, but I have to say putting down the controller is hard!

I completely agree with OP. The folks at BioWare have once again delivered a game that is second to none in my opinion. I honestly think that this game has taken the throne from the Baldur's Gate series as the most enjoyable game I've ever played. Anyway I'm burning valuable game time but I wanted to log onto the forums and say thank you (once again) to everyone involved in the making of this game you guys have done a damn good job.

I'd agree it's very addicting. I am starting over for my second time..to make some changes to my appearance..some choices with my spells and such..and to start with the DLC active..and also I think I will let the NPC's autolevel nowso I dont have to micromanage so much.

Yea it is very addictive. I was hooked from my human noble origin story. I can't believe all the twists and turns already and I'm not even that far into the game yet, its wild! The music, characters, and story is def immersing and moving. The combat and controls are very smooth as well.

BioWare has done it again!

It's the game that saved 2009 from being a disaster for PC gamers. Thank you, Bioware! I typically don't even like RPGs, but this game has me firmly hooked!

I would agree, this game is top notch, great story line, great graphics(dont know what alot of people are complaining about). Been playing on my ps3 and everything is nice and crisp. I'm not as far as a few other players, but am already looking forward to playing it again and again...
