Jumping in w/o reading everything, but it is my hope that Kiting will not be needed. Using the Arishock battle as an example, it is a lot more enjoyable and tactical to take on all of the Quanari, and skip that duel. It would be grand to see the end of hour long Kiting sessions like in GoA.

I also look forward to Esc from dialogue if desired; a great feature of SWTOR. Just leave the WASD there; prefer the DA point and click movement.

The fight with the Arishock should be taught in classes about how to NOT handle boss fights. It was embarassing how long it took me to realize there was no "answer" to how to win that fight other than running around and waiting for him to be dumb.

*raises hand*   Actually Yes, yes some people do.

For me, DAO pretty much saved cRPGs on the PC.

Same here. DAO is in many ways still the best rpg I know. I loved the story, the choices, the characters, the pacing, the setting, the gameplay, the skill sets the combat, the amount of openness...pretty much everything.

If DA:I is just a modernized version of DAO, I will be happy. If it is DAO with more stuff, I will be ecstatic. If it is too much like Skyrim or Witcher, I will be unhappy.
