So far no Blackwall gameplay have seen , and also...looking at weapons both Blackwall and Iron Bull use two handed wpns so they both kinda similar...the question should be...A) Tank type - Cassandra or DPS , bruiser , offtank - IronBull/Blackwall.

 

Majority options will be Cassandra...coz..well if u even play warrior , you sure as hell wont be booring tank class with shield If they made Spear+shield possibilty then..it would be...OK nvm

 

My choice A) Cassandra. If I play warrior , I will be two handed so, if I need another warrior  I take full flegged tank Cassandra. If I play other class then there might be a rotation.

There has been concept art of Blackwall with a sword and shield. Also, you can choose whether a warrior is a two handed warrior or a tank.

But as far as warriors go I have a feeling Iron Bull will appear in my party the most, followed by Cass and then Blackwall. But that's only going off of what we know. I'll probably have totally different opinions once I actually get the game!

Most likely IB. At least for my first play through. I do like Cass and Blackwall though, so I'm not 100% sure what I'll do. UGH DECISIONS!!!

He is a member of the Qun, but is also a hedonist. He's a walking paradox. Interesting enough to me. He also seems funny and ridiculous. And I'm intrigued by his having a "thing with demons."

Honestly, they all look brilliant!  My party choice will always be influenced by whoever my PC is romancing (try to bring the LI around as much as possible), but otherwise I expect to bring each of them with me a good bit.

Cassandra. For Sure! She has a permanent spot in my party because she gonna be my LI! Iron Bull and Blackwall will be in my party sometimes but more in my 2nd and 3rd play throughs.

I'll probably rotate them out a lot (more so than the mages/rogues where I have definite favorites-so-far), but am definitely leaning toward Cass the most.

So for my first playthrough I expect to swap around when it seems advantageous but to use either Cassandra or Iron Bull as my default.  And yet I wonder if Blackwall will end up being very cool.  My gut says he will.  Still I think it works like this.  If I decide Cassandra is LI for my first playthrough, then her mostly.  If not, then perhaps Iron Bull.  Or maybe Blackwall!  Eh.  Given 2 or 3 playthroughs, I'll put them all through their paces.  And again I haven't really answered the question.  Can't wait for rogue question so I can not answer that one either.

From what I understand you can give them whatever weapon you like as long as the class supports it, but how strong they can be with that weapon depends on talents, specs etc. We need more info on those to be sure. They can be fully functional or handicapped. Remains to be seen.
