Next time you're on PS3, we'll get some pugs and have a battle of the scorewhores.
That'll be fun. I have Venom III now!
Maybe I'll break 120k.

Second place is first loser. It pays to be a winner!

I try and kill as many things as fast as I can. If I top the scoreboard that's fine if not, that's fine as well. If we all get to extraction it was a good game.
Pretty much what I expected .
I think players are a little more concerned with score than they are willing to admit unless they can do it anonymously
It's a co-op game, I'd rather play Counter Strike, CoD, or Battlefield for real competitive experience.
I think they should hide the scoreboard or only show it after the match ends, or make one's score only visible to him/heself, there'll be much less scorewh*re this way.
I'm inadvertently competitive and usually top score in the following categories:
-Getting a-bombed
-Getting locked in the reactor
-Getting fed to Praetorians

Considering the polls results and the responses in this thread, lots of people are not telling the truth, that score really does matter to them.
The feeling I always get when pugging is if everyone is not close to 1st by about 20k (gold+) then they leave as it's not worth their time even though the game went smoothly.
And silver is the worst, starting at level 1 after promotion on silver (I usually get kicked on gold if i try it even though I am using a decent UR), this is the difficulty lots of peeps with high manifests or strong kits come to slum it up and obliterate in points, and then when poor new guy who's way way way lower in points gets berated for sucking so hard before they leave.
Easy to run silver, but those that need to be there have it hard. No respect I tell ya. ![]()
